They run screening through a 3rd party company and are unable to inform you of how much income you need in excess of the rent. While this may not affect people whose income more than covers the rent, it does make it nearly impossible for those attempting to use savings to supplement income as they won't be able to tell you how much you need beyond a "substantial amount".

Recently moved in about 3 months ago and so far it's been a way better experience than my previous apartment. Reasonable pet rent of $20 and deposit of $150 for my cat... heat is warm and AC is cold, relatively quiet except when people stomp up and down the stairs, the hallways echo pretty bad but that's my only complaint about that. Office staff has been very nice and helpful. Our kitchen is very compact and small for my liking but the bathroom and bedrooms are pretty good size for the price I'm paying. Spiders are in abundance but being on the lower floor and near a small forest of trees I'm

I moved out of west wind about a month and a half ago to move into a house I had bought. I terminated my lease, I contacted the leasing office to get all my final charges paid in full including penalties for terminating my lease early. I just got an additional bill a month and a half later for an additional $500. When I called the office to see what happened or why I was being charged AGAIN, I was redirected TWICE because they could not figure out why. When I spoke to the third woman, she told me that they had made a mistake on my account two months earlier when I terminated my lease and forgot

I lived at West Wind Apartments for a little over two years. When I moved in it was totally fine. But as time went on the complex went down hill very quickly. Please note that I paid my rent on time or early every single month and never had any complaints from the complex against myself. I know that sometimes people write angry reviews when the issues were their own fault. This is not the case.
1) The small wall air conditioning unit in the apartment I lived in was close to useless. At one point I had to have that wall unit, and I had three other industrial fans in the apartment (mind you this

No problems for 2 years. Suddenly I'm fined $100 for smoking OUTSIDE on my balcony (something I was told would be fine when I signed my lease). Never had a neighbor complain (am quite friendly with all my neighbors).
Property manager just saw me doing it and even though is wasn't affecting her or anyone else decided that right before Christmas to fine me $100.
Now wants me to (during winter) leave my apartment and walk 35 ft away from the building (with no smoking enclosures or any protection from the element whenever I need a cigarette. (yes, I realize I should quit. I've been smoking for 20

The apartments are beautiful and open, the moving process is quick and very easy, the office staff is friendly and quick, the internet is okay considering what I do with it, and best of all, this place is not that expensive, for a two bedroom me and my roommate each have to pay a sum of around 380 dollars, it’s amazing. I really appreciate the staff helping us so much with the moving process, moving out of the parents is a frustrating time, and the staff is helpful and friendly, and are always ready to answer any questions you might have. Overall, this place won’t be a disappointment.

A hidden gem in Fort Wayne rentals. I've been here one and a half years and can't think of any place better. The whole staff is awesome, location is absolutely perfect, price is hard to beat anywhere decent, neighbors are all hardworking and quiet, all in a beautiful and peaceful setting.
I've lived cheap places and I learned that landlords don't go above and beyond (even if you're rent is always on time), but here they do. I had brand new fridge and stove, shower, & carpet. When I broke the garbage disposer they fixed it free. They repaint buildings regularly and repave old sidewalks/parking

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The only internet you can get is what they provide which is far overpriced for what you get. The laundry rooms sucks there's only ever 1 working washer and 2 working dryers out of the 3 washers and 3 dryers that are in there. Which you are constantly trying to fight over because you gotta share them with a couple building. With that being said trying to do laundry there is a pain. As for the apartment itself the apartment was alright I don't really have any complaints with that. Now cut to moving out after moving out I get a statement of balance saying

I moved in here a little over a year ago. I was in a good building. Free of parties and loud obnoxious people other building not so much. While I know things happen everywhere this place is a constant stream of ambulances, police, fires, and shootings.
The apartments are spacious and clean upon moving in but the do use very cheap products for sinks, counters, faucets etc.
Maintenance is good, the first couple of times they came quickly but towards the end they never showed or called. It was frustrating.
Communication with the front office is very poor. In my opinion they're are more worried

If I could give it no stars I would. The management and staff is terrible. They care more about their lawn service then they do their residents. They have bed bugs among many other types of bug infestations. They started to decline my calls after we notified them of any problems. Took them two months to fix the light in our hallway and Three months to fix our neighbors air conditioning. It’s the dead of summer and that was basically torture considering we had over 5 heat advisories during that time. I will never ever rent from this place again. I will advise any of my friends or family to seek

I have been living here for 3 years and want to leave a good review after living here for that long. I love the gas and it's included into the rent. I know that gas bill can very expensive in the winter. I can't get pan hot enough with electric stoves and heater as quick as gas. West Wind is close to a lot of the stores here in town. Tiffany and staff are friendly and helps me get maintenance related things fix quickly. They have an after hours emergency service. There was a bad storm a year ago and maintenance was helpful and prompt.

My boyfriend and i are nearing the end of 1 year lease and looking for a different place to live because we hate it here. Heres why:

From the starting point of our apartment search which lasted roughly 3 weeks, the pricing of the one bedrooms went up about by about $50. When we did finally get our place it wasnt that bad although $570 is way to much for the amount of space you get. We had enough space for a couch and a small chair in the living room and a very small dining room table that we have to move whenever we want to sit at it. The bedroom is big enough for a queen size bed and thats about

Ok, so this is my second time living here. My first time was about 5 years ago and it wasn't bad. This time it's not too bad, except for there's more obnoxious people living here and you can't have an outside vendor for your interent. There are people who have frontier but got it before they made a change. Now you have to get their crap. If you enjoy watching Netflix, Hulu or YouTube with good quality or expecially a gamer that downloads games or even videos. DO NOT live here. I pay $60 for their fastest and it's not fast, plus theres a cap on your bandwidth, which means

Great place to live. Relaxing. Nice and friendly staff. Pool. One of the downsides is the internet...works ok for streaming but is a little expensive and has a low limit (250) on your GB usage each month. Spacious apartments with awesome storage. We have 4 closets in a one bedroom.
