Edsall House is an affordable senior apartment community in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. Our community is a federally subsidized apartment community with rents and eligibility are determined by government regulations. We offer one bedroom apartment homes that feature abundant storage, emergency pull cords and spacious living and dining rooms.
Our community amenities include controlled access, laundry facilities, a service coordinate and onsite management. We are located on West Berry Street between the restored historical West Central Neighborhood and the downtown Community Center. The community is just walking distance away from the Fort Wayne Botanical Gardens, Parkview Baseball Stadium, the Convention Center, the Civic and Embassy Theater and the Allen County Library.

I have enjoyed living at Edsall House for the past several years. The staff work hard to build and maintain our community and grounds. Anytime something needs repaired, the staff (Bruce, Annie, and Bob) are johnny-on-the-spot to cheerfully fix what needs fixing. In the summer we have beautiful flowers and in the winter well-salted and cleared sidewalks and lots. The staff (Carla, Tasha, Kristina, and Karla) want to help, so if you have questions or suggestions, they welcome them. Edsall House is consistently conscientious and compassionate about others' limitations or disabilities, a safe place

Edsall House is an apartment complex located in the heart of Downtown Fort Wayne. With the beautiful landscaping and pristeen upkeep of the apartments, it's obvious that the Staff at Edsall House is diligent and prideful of their property. Interaction with Staff provides a curteous, pleasant experience for tenants. Considering all housing criteria , Edsall House has earned my distinction of a superior Fort Wayne housing complex.

Edsall House Apartments is in a great location downtown! I love that you don't have to own a car because you can walk to anywhere close by. I called to ask about apartment and the office lady was so helpful and told me so much about Edsall House that I did not know. I have applied and am on the waiting list for an apartment and I could not be more excited about this change. I spoke to a person who lives at Edsall House and they told me that they have all kinds of events, a service coordinator to help them and a place to eat meals at lunchtime! When I first went in to Edsall House I was made to feel welcome; I am disabled due to the limited range of motion associated with my back (post surgery). I was led to believe that I was eligible for an apt. We moved forward with the application process, which included a background check of past rentals. I knew I had it in the bag since I'm a great tenant; I've never had a bad word said about me nor the apartments I've rented. Fast forward, my acceptance letter arrived and boom!.....DENIED.
