Yoga With Yumi
Looking for the right yoga studio? Book an appointment at our spacious Mission Hills studio today and benefit from a hobby for life. Hatha yoga consists of different poses with deep breathing techniques. Different stretches will stimulate different muscles of the body. Hatha yoga is meant to align and relax your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation.

These classes are beginner friendly, but all levels are welcome. Hatha Yoga is very beneficial if you have any back, shoulder or neck problems. All of my students have gained flexibility, better posture, and less aches and pains from the gentile stretching and poses practiced during Hatha yoga. If you experience chronic pain, injury, shoulder, neck and back problems, then Hatha yoga may be the most beneficial option for you.
Services
Pilates is a very effective form of exercise. It offers a combination of core strengthening, a resistance workout which is like weight training, and stretching. You can work out target muscles. Pilates can be used as a regular workout, or if your injured it can be physical therapy for your shoulders and back.

Yumi is amazing ! She is great at explaining moves to a beginner (like me!) and I went while I was still recovering from an ankle sprain, she showed me different moves that I could do and still keep up with the class. She is so welcoming and hosts a down to earth environment, and I didn’t feel intimidated as someone who never does yoga. I can’t wait to go back again now that I have more time.

As a beginner person at Yoga, I loved going to Yumi's beginner/intermediate class. Yumi is super nice and her class is great, as are the other people in class. The studio is upstairs in a small complex next to Lucha Libre in south Mission Hills, and is super clean and open inside with natural light and fans to keep the air flowing. She has all the essentials and extras you'd need for the class so all you need to bring is a mat and some water (and a towel if you sweat a lot). I've gone back already since my first class and will continue to go. Definitely recommend!
