Dana Wilson grew up in a family-owned contractor business which was started by his parents in 1954. The company's business activities included developing land and building homes. This foundation provided Dana with a life-time of hands-on knowledge, skills and experience in the home construction industry.
We at Absolute Safeguard Home Inspection Services Inc. have performed thousands of home inspections in western Pennsylvania for the past 19+ years. The state of Pennsylvania does not have a state licensing board for home inspectors. However, the Pennsylvania law states that home inspectors must be members of one of the non-profit home inspector societies in the US. This was a first time purchasing a home since we built our first home. Dino was very professional. He promptly responded to our call and inspected our property soon after calling. Great experience with Dino for our home inspection. He was able to get us scheduled within two days off calling. During the inspection Dino made sure to walk me through each step and explained in real terms what he was looking for. It was a much more personalized experience than I expected. Unfortunately we did back out of the home after finding too many things that needed remedied but will definitely use Dino and Absolute Safeguard for our next home inspection.

The final report was comprehensive and easy to understand. Our realtor was able to use verbiage from the summary for subsequent paperwork. Meanwhile, I was able to review detailed photographs and explanations in the latter pages of the report.

I recently used Dino for a home inspection. I have purchased a number of homes over the years and dealt with many inspectors. Dino performed, by far, the best inspection I’ve ever had. He was extremely thorough and took his time, which I appreciated. I received my inspection file the following day, which was a Saturday! 10 out of 10 and I’ll recommend Dino and his team every time.

Dino was our inspector for the property we were looking to purchase and was great. From the very start he was extremely professional and communicated well. When we got to the house for inspection he got right to work. He explained a ton of things that he saw as he went and answered any questions. The report he gave in the house was so incredibly detailed it actually helped us out to the point that we didn’t buy the home because of some major issues that didn’t meet the eye. He saved us a huge headache and we are actually going to hire him again to look at another property. Highly recommend

What an absolute joke of a company. Dino missed so many different issues and cost us thousands of dollars we otherwise could have negotiated off the purchase price or as repairs. He missed major damage to the front porch roof. I watched him walk on this roof and he reported no issues. First time it rained heavily after moving in the roof leaked like a sieve at a spot in the front and back corner above the soffit. The roofer I hired to look at it found multiple soft spots of rotted decking after about 30 seconds walking this roof and found it had a poorly installed double layer of shingles.

Dino was fantastic for our inspection! He not only did the inspection, but he made the whole process educational and taught us so much about our new house! We can't recommend this business enough! We had Dino for our inspection. He was very thorough and explained a lot to us as he did the inspection, taking the time to make sure we understood everything. We appreciated his patience. He even gave us little tips on how to best take care of the house. We received the report promptly, and it was very easy to understand and organized. Our first house fell through and we gladly had Dino do our second inspection as well.

My husband and I purchased a home about a year ago. Dino was the inspector. He missed several major items in the inspection report (knob and tube wiring, broken ventilation fans, broken windows, leaky radiator valves, carpenter ant damage to our porch. He also allowed the homeowner and 5 family members to be present during an inspection that I was paying for. I contacted him to let him know and he was very rude and offered to send me a couple of electrical outlets. After several months of obtaining bids, we went to court and asked for the money for the 11k in repairs. The judge sided with Dino

I highly recommend Absolute Safeguard for a property inspection.
