I remember going to my first yoga studio in Sacramento, Solfire, and feeling so unwelcome. I did not fit the mold they had created. Starbucks mugs in hand, Ugg's on feet, slim White bodies. Nothing about that place felt like a yoga community to me, an Indian woman. It was a popularity contest. And I didn't have the body mold or skin color to be welcomed - or so it very much felt that way. The little cards they put on your shoes were cute though.
This was years ago, but I never returned. Now as a registered yoga teacher myself, I aim to do everything to make people feel welcome in their

I started attending classes during the pandemic. I wanted to find an outdoor class I could do and still stay safe - That's where I found yoga in the park! The class is taught by Dwight who is a lovely man who always makes me smile. I don't always get out to a class but I try to make it out once a month. Something about doing yoga in nature makes me feel more centered. Dwight's class is definitely on the faster pace side, so I recommend him if you have some moves already down, and not a beginner. He'll definitely make you feel like you worked your body!

I have been practicing yoga at the same studio for over 10 years, I was orphaned by covid-19, my studio closed. I had only practiced at that studio so I was paralyzed, after a year and half at home and much googling and asking around I decided to venture out, I was bummed to have to drive "so far" (I am in Antelope) but I bit the bullet and I am glad I did, Solfire is a wonderful studio, I guess there are others out there! :) Joy is your mat, that is what yoga teaches, non-attachment to a place is the lesson, but lets be honest it does matter, Solfire has "good vibes" - the

The 530pm class is absolutely ridiculous. In that it is packed like sardines and you feel like you have no space to breathe because there is literally a person on your left and on your right within 1 foot of you. Every move you make you have to worry about hitting the next person. Also, like this place seems a little bit money hungry. $22 for a single drop in class is a lot. Last year it was only $18. For the amount of people they have in there, it seems insane. Definitely not a good value for your money. I think this place has changed a bit. Cannot recommend this yoga place, honestly kinda feels

I wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I will not be a returning customer.
I came with a group of my girl friends, and I didn't realize there was a 30 day for $30 special deal, so I paid for the $22 one time check in. Before starting the class, my friend explained the deal to me, and I was about to go back to the front desk to ask about the deal, but class was about to start so I decided to handle it afterwards.
However, after class when I tried to ask if I can opt into the $30 deal instead, they wouldn't let me. I was told to come back next time and they can sign me up

I signed up for the Solfire. Unfortunately this was not the right yoga studio for me. The girl who works the front desk was inexplicably unhappy and facing her every time I wanted to come to class just seem like a wet towel on or what would be satisfying work out. After the trial period ended I continue to get $109 fees monthly. I wrote a letter asking for them to discontinue charging me being that I only signed up for the trial. And did not want to continue. They explain to me that it's a minimum of six months before I could cancel. I said I signed up for a 30 day trial but I have to commit

Solfire is my favorite yoga studio in Sacramento. It offers a range of vinyasa-style, slightly heated yoga classes. All the instructors are amazing and knowledgeable. I've enjoyed every class. None of the teachers talk too much (sometimes yoga teachers think they automatically have a platform to talk about their lives). The studio is clean and nice on the inside. The hottest class is not too hot (and I'm pretty sensitive to the heat). I particularly like this studio because they have a healthy mix of the "spiritual" part of yoga and the actual exercise part. I'm pretty

I've finally found my Sacramento studio for my holiday breaks!! I prefer a hot Vinyasa power flow with cool music and an epic instructor and that's what I got here! I highly recommend Power Flow with Stephanie if you want a challenging class that leaves you sweaty and blissed out loved the girl at the front desk too

I have been going here to practice yoga for a couple years now. There are so many great things about this place!
Pros: great teachers (I usually take yin, yin flow, anything that's not hot yoga). I love that they offer non-heated classes and there's always plenty of props. I go to the late afternoon classes so parking hasn't been an issue. The teachers are knowledgeable and very welcoming. The energy is the best, very calming and accepting.
Cons: I would love it more if they offered non-heated classes on Friday and Saturday'

Coming from OC/LA where I went to Yogaworks religiously almost every day with their fabulous teachers, I struggled to find something similar here in Sacramento. I visited several studios and Solefire is by far the best one for me here. It is closest to what I've been looking for and missing in a studio--challenging vinyasa classes with good music, great teachers, and great vibe.
Blake is one of the best yoga teachers here in Sacramento. I'm very happy to have found his class!

I really love the yoga nidra class here, the teacher is amazing but unfortunately the studio is so unwelcoming with terrible policies that I had to quit going!
I have health issues and at this point can only attend yoga nidra classes and last time I went in the girls at the front desk asked me if that was the only class I went to and then giggled. Honestly it's like the vibe of starting high school for the first time with this studio. That's the energy. This is the perfect studio if you're really in shape and young but if you are new to yoga and need a friendly welcoming environment

Started going to Solfire in February and it has completely changed every aspect of my life. I am mentally, physically, and spiritually a healthier healthier person. At Solfire you can expect a clean and welcoming environment. Every class offers the option of being assisted, which is good for beginners and experienced yogis alike. If you choose to go to Solfire get ready to sweat and do not worry about being judged because the instructors teach that everyone is on their own journey building their own practice at different stages. (Plus most people are busy working so hard they don't have time

I'm really disappointed in my experience at Sol Fire yoga. I've done yoga on and off since I was in high school and love going to yoga studios. Since they are expensive I tend to only book memberships to yoga studios when they are on a deal. When I saw the 30 for 30 day deal I jumped on the experience.
I have done Bikram yoga at two different studios before in the past. My mistake was assuming all hot yoga would be similar to Bikram. Lesson learned here. I attended the all levels class and was sent nearly in a panic attack. The room was PACKED. I mean my mat touching the person on both

This is more like 4.5 stars! Solfire is a cozy yoga haven. I've been an unlimited monthly member for about 5 months now, after trying four other yoga studios around town. Solfire's community is very friendly and approachable, and the classes are challenging. I also appreciate how many options they have in terms of scheduling, as well as the variety of teachers.
My favorite teachers are Jamie, Evelyn, and Stephanie. I tend to gravitate more toward thoughtful, quieter, more spiritual teachers, rather than louder, faster paced teachers who are there for a Sweaty Workout. (Try Janna and

Solfire definitely lit a fire in my soul. Or at least a nice warm glow.
I tried Solfire through their 30 days for $30 trial (bonus: you can borrow towel and yoga mat for free). The space is not too small, the instructors are diverse and all have been great. I think my favorite might be the sunday morning class, where i feel like i'm feeding my body and my soul. My only (minor) gripe is that i don't like the music that's played in the Tuesday class (Eminem one time) but to each his/her own.
I've tried a few different yoga studios in Sacramento through their new student

$30 for 30 days
All the instructors that I've had have been super nice-- as expected. My favorite class has been Aimee's mostly because of how the class ends.
I'm not an expert yogi and I need someone to come around and make sure my alignment is on point and I got it. If you're new or returning after a long period of no yoga, they'll take care of you. One instructor started the class saying, 'if you don't like being touched, let us know'.. So accommodations, right? Just ask or say something.
I think of Solfire as a modern yoga studio. They have classes

I was sick of myself being a bed potato after work and wanted to do something productive.
I've asked around and heard from my colleague that Solfire is bombdiggity and decided to give it a try.
