Ritual was born from the idea that life is meant to be experienced, lived, and honored in all it's stages. Formally known as It's All Yoga, our studio honors the past the present and the future; knowing that we could not be where we are without the 12+ years It's All Yoga served the community. We cherish the process of evolution and strive to always honor our roots as we continue to create our future together.
In order to lead a fulfilling life we believe in the importance of tending to the whole person. A healthy body, mind, and spirit help to carry us through all life's ups, downs, twists, and turns in a way that leaves us feeling more alive and whole on the other side. We believe that inviting an element of ritual to life enhances the quality of our experience.

No one ever stops learning more from yoga. I'll always humbly accept that I am a student first, and a teacher second - and look forward to growing through this practice together. Offers by-donation meditation for anyone willing to start, resume or strengthen their practice. I believe with the right combination of curiosity, compassion, and discipline, we can find more presence and purpose both on and off the mat.
See our class schedule for levels, and know that the instructor can help you find modifications in any of our classes. Build on classical alignment, build strength, and practice breath-work, relaxation, and meditation. Exploration of the physical poses is supplemented with the philosophy and energetic principles of yoga.
Ritual Memberships provide you with the most affordable way to practice and receive great benefits including recordings to any virtual class to be used within 24 hours of live class. We offer 8 different membership options ranging from $52 to $132 a month, depending on your goals, needs, desires and commitment.

Ritual is such a wonderful yoga studio! All of the teachers are friendly and accommodating. I go to Catherine's yoga classes and they're amazing. She is a teacher that you could take the class with your eyes closed the entire time and feel good doing that. I also took one of her shadow workshops and it was so helpful and illuminating. I was able to learn and grow on a very deep level. I can't wait to continue on with the shadow workshop and the yoga classes!

This is a great spot for new and experienced yogis (is that what they're called? lol) My first time doing yoga EVER was here at this studio. And it was such a great, welcoming experience. Let me tell you why.
Class sizes are small so you don't feel intimidated by a large mass of people. The instructor was able to give individualized tips on how to personalize certain poses to make it more comfortable for your body type! Mats, blankets, head pillows, straps, blocks and eye masks are all provided free of charge. There is a bathroom in-studio and plenty of street parking. Jeanne, the instructor

I just started taking class at IAY on the recommendation of a friend. So far I've attended 2 workshops (1 meditation and 1 yoga) and a free aromatherapy class. The staff at IAY is so welcoming and accommodating of those at all levels of yoga practice. The studio is small but cozy and if you don't have your own yoga essentials they have them there for you to borrow.

Recently, I went here for Sacramento Yoga Day which happens over Labor Day weekend. It was quite easy to get to. Because it was Sac's Yoga Day, they had a couple volunteers outside to help guests fill out registration forms and sign in. It's a small studio but it has all the basic necessities. The space at which the classes are held faces out to the road and sidewalk. It wasn't a distraction while the class was in session. In the back, they have a cupboard to store your belongings. Also, they have a cupboard for yoga mats, blankets for leverage, blocks, and towels. Next to the bathroom

It's All Yoga is a small, intimate studio that really makes you feel comfortable and a part of their little community. It's in that right edge of Midtown, giving it the perfect location for being in the middle of Sacramento but still having space to park. The studio itself is one room with nice wood floors, it's big enough to fit an entire class but still small enough to feel cozy. At the front there is open window space which allows that lovely natural light to leak through even when the curtains are closed.
All of the classes show great attention to detail. They are not classes

LOVE this studio! Where else can you enjoy Yoga, Pilates, special classes,
Meditation, and community events?! Because....It's ALL Yoga! The teachers are non-judgmental & help you modify a pose to suit your body. I like that I can chose between restorative classes & more challenging ones too. Michelle, the gracious Proprietress, and her teachers are always coming up with new, fun ideas -- this month we are playing Yoga Bingo! Stop by the studio to find out more!

This is a smaller, neighborhood studio that has attracted fabulous teachers from around Sacramento. While the classes I attend are mostly levels
2-3, the teachers give enough guidance and class flexibility (no pun intended) to help students from beginners to the more advanced. The classes have a community or family feel, where all ages are welcome. Plus, they offer helpful workshops on things like scoliosis, relaxation, head stands, and strengthening. Yoga mats, blankets, and other props are all provided. I love IAY!

I attend classes daily (5-6 per week) and can't say enough positives for the instructors and workshops. Each instructor (4 different ones) has their own style and technique so the sessions are never repetitive or boring.
I had no prior yoga experience and started with a beginner class more than a year ago.
Over the course of the year, I graduated to more advance classes.
They rate the classes from 1-4 so you can pick a session that suits your comfort zone and experience.
The instructors are very professional, personable and supportive.

I went here because I noticed they were doing a 4 week series on arm balances and I have been meaning to advance my arm balance practice. I like going to different studios and workshops for arm balances because I think every instructor has different tips and tricks to offer. I attended the arm balance class that worked on doing side crow and with all the prep that Gina the instructor offer I was actually able to do side crow for a couple seconds. The instructor was patient understanding and focused a lot of time on prepping us for the move. I will definitely be back to try out other arm balances

It's All Yoga (IAY) has become a safe haven for me to mellow out and enjoy several nice, guided stretches and yoga poses. The classes offered are good for my body and mind and flow well.
I have been taking the 4:30pm donation-based class on Fridays lately, which is taught by the studio's teachers-in-training/those who have recently completed their program. Kate is my favorite so far; she has a warm, playful personality and easily helps me to unwind from the work week while in her class.
I recently purchased an IAY Love Pack, which included 3 classes, a tank, and a lavender eye pillow

I've been to numerous yoga studios in Sacramento and I keep coming back to to It's All Yoga. With Bella now teaching the 6pm Friday evening classes, I just may become a regular-regular. Bella teaches with a light-heartedness and accessibility that works for both newbies and regular practitioners alike.
About the studio, though. I started visiting when they were in Land Park next to the Espresso Metro and followed them to their new Midtown spot. The vibe is casual and I like the bright studio lit mostly by natural light in the afternoon.
If you're not into the 5-minute chanting

While visiting Sacramento for a class reunion, I needed something calming & wanted a yoga class I could easily walk to. It's All Yoga offered a class at the time I wanted, within an easy walk, and a check in/registration on line that was easy peasy.
This class was 90 minutes of intense hip opening, heart centered, deep breathing yoga! As great as any class I've taken in yoga-centric cities like Portland & Berkeley! The space is serene with gorgeous wooden floors, all the amenities, too. There were clean yoga mats (some studies do not spray them off after classes - this studio

I came here on a Friday for a free class.
I like the studio, it's a small place. They provide mats and all the supplies.
The instructor was nice but I felt like the class wasn't challenging enough. I felt like she was a little uncertain of what was going on but I know she's been teaching for awhile. Overall, I didn't feel the vibe of the class. I was more bored and confused than interested. It wasn't what I expect, it's definitely different from the other yoga studio I go to in Sacramento.
I would probably return to this place and give it another try when I get

I love this place.
I'm a yoga junkie -- but not one of those yoga snobs. This is not the studio for yoga snobs. Don't come in here and do a headstand and think everyone's going to think you're cool.
This is the yoga studio for people who are looking for a warm, supportive (sometimes literally) atmosphere. They welcome all levels and are OK with it if you just can't do something (or don't want to).
All the instructors are great -- and all make it a point to meet you in person (and remember your name!!) before class begins. The classes are usually small, and

Best yoga place in town! Michelle, the owner, is absolutely amazing. She truly cares her students and is so genuine in her teaching. She has a way of teaching that opens students up to be curious about their bodies and what each pose brings. I always leave feeling refreshed and content.
There are a variety of classes so you can find what works best for you. From a relaxing Yin class to a more challenging slow flow class there is even a new yoga for athletes that I saw added to the schedule. I can't wait to try that one!
They have amazing workshops that focus on different aspects
