I booked this place for a bachelorette party through Expedia and let me tell you... the pictures are 100% not the same. The pictures show actual cabins that look nice. This place is a low grade motel. Our "cabin" had light switches that didn't work, one room couldn't shut the actual lights off in the room, so the light bulb had to be unscrewed. There weren't any extra pillows or blankets for the pull out couches. There were holes in the walls along with broken drawers pulled out, just laying in the floor. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms or kitchen. For $673 on

Absolutely not!!!!!!!! This place is disgusting and had left over garbage from the people before us under the beds, there’s one pool working and it’s dirty!! The first room we had they had a little fridge sitting on the floor on a piece of wood. Drapes are falling off the rods,I went down to the office to complain about our dirty room and the “… manager “ who btw looked 16 years old told me she couldn’t prove that it wasn’t our garbage so they weren’t giving a refund of anything but 15$ resort fee. They moved us to a “ cleaner” room but

I was extremely nervous after reading reviews what it would be like to stay here. I had already booked the room, so I decided to just go with it. I am honestly so glad I decided to stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful (especially Joyce and Jade) and the room we stayed in was clean. The flamingo was a large property with many amenities on site including 5 pools (plus two more being renovated), a basketball court, and so much more. Noah's ark passes were included with our stay and we were within walking distance from the park. We were also in a central location that was pretty close

Stayed there for the last two nights and needless to say, we will not be staying here again. To start out with they gave us a room that was already being occupied, Bathroom sink leaked all over the floor even when it wasn’t being used, and to top it all off there was bed bugs!! We could’ve stayed at any dive motel and had a better experience and not paid almost $400.

I didn't get a chance to stay here. I called 12 times during normal business hours 1pm - 4:30pm to change the dates of my reservation. No one ever picked up the phone and there wasn't even an answering machine. I even checked their number on several platforms: yelp, priceline, booking.com, google, and their own website just to make sure I had their number correct and used both their toll free and local number. I decided to just eat up the cancellation fee and book elsewhere.

Our stay was absolutely horrible. We had a tub that would not drain and a toilet that would not flush. Worst part is, we had an “updated room.” We called maintenance 3x. Once before we went to dinner, when we were back from dinner, and once before bed. After hours of no response we left the hotel. I called the Monday after our stay to speak… with a manager. The manager Becky, now denies talking to me. She had originally offered two free night stays, which I accepted. I told my husband and we decided that we would NEVER go back to the hotel. We didn’t get water park passes, the pools were drained, when we got there except one indoor pool on the others side of the premises. Our room wasn’t ready they gave us a room with no towels, no toilet paper, ext we get into a different room and there is dirty undies on the shelf. Yuk. we didn’t get chula vista tickets either. I was very… disappointed. After asking for a refund we were told no. They said possibly a 10% discount. Really. I would of never stayed her had unknown Noah’s ark is closed for the season. Also 4 of the 7 pools are drained after Labor Day. So

Not worth what we paid the room is old and isn't the best smelling place. TV isn't working properly. Door lock broken. Microwave is discolored. Plus the office was closed and took forever to get someone to come help us find the sales office to check into. Super disappointed. Room is hot. They would not allow my mom to pay for her room with her credit card. They would only use mine. Never heard of that. Resort fee for not sure what?? Nothing to do. The pool in front of my room is empty. Locks on doors are broken. Waited to post this to see if the manager called me. It's been 2 days

Got a room last minute this Labor Day weekend . Paid quite a decent amount to come to my room and have 0 towels 0 toilet paper .. went to office and they told me all of towels were in dryer & they would deliver them as soon as possible . Left for a bite 3 hrs later come back to still no towels or toilet paper. Went back to office, she ended up giving me only 1 roll of toilet paper that she stole from the office bathroom for 4 people that I had in the room. Got my towels 45 min later after complaining so much. By far the worst motel I will never come back nor recommend

The costumer service was good, room was decent and clean, pools were clean. But there housekeeping not good. We were there this past week. We were told our room was going to be ready at 3:30pm. When I went to get the key to room they stated that housekeeping needed to put towels in room, we waited another 20 minutes. On our second day we were at… the pool waiting for housekeeping to clean room. It took two people from housekeeping 2 hours to clean each room, by the way they never went to clean our room. On checkout day housekeeping was waiting outside our room to clean it.

Avoid this place at all costs! I have never stayed in a more disgusting property at premium rates in my life and I have traveled a lot. I'm not sure how they can charge the rates they do AND a "resort" fee and sleep at night. I know I didn't get any sleep, first off the curtain did not even close all the way so there was a six inch gap between the curtain and the wall, which meant anyone walking by our room could look in and see us sleeping. Peeping Tom's heaven! The volume on the TV was turned up at full volume and we still could not hear it, we had to contact maintenance

I wouldn’t recommend this place to animals let alone humans. They even booked me a used room, that’s when I had enough and asked for a refund. You’re better off sleeping in your car lol ewwww

I'm giving it a one star and that's being generous. We got there on Thursday, check in is at 3:30and had to come back 2 times because our room wasn't ready. Finally got into our room after 5 and there was no toilet paper. We asked for extra towels and pillows and got nothing. The next day our room wasn't cleaned and had to ask them 3 times to clean the room! No one in that hotel knows what their doing, it's all summer help. The place is outdated and the price may be ok but definitely not worth it! This place was horrible! We will never be going back. Do yourself a favor

Stayed here a number of times. this year late June was the worst ever. made reservations for a pool side room and there wasn't one in sight out of 5. love hot tubs but couldn't go in it because it was TOO hot. Staff was rude and just pushed us through. you could tell that they just wanted us to shut up and did not care about our concerns.… housekeeping however was friendly and kind. will never return to this location, due to the inconvenience in our room and the staff. if they would have listened to my request and followed thru on said request and put us my the pool I could have overlooked

One star for the free water park tickets with stay... Everything else was horrible. Within 10 minutes of being in the room, the sink trap fell off - IT JUST FELL OFF! Took forever for them to get someone to come fix it. The room was so humid, you could feel every spring in the bed, and the shower was from HELL. It would go from ice cold to scalding hot without warning - didn't matter what temp you set it at. Also had zero water pressure.
Horrific - would have rather camped down the road than waste that money. Oh, and great parting gift - while cleaning up to leave, we checked under the bed

Never told there was a pet deposit even when we called. Denied our room. Manager was snide (there's no one that works here who told you that - although we called twice to confirm our pet was welcome and were never told anything about deposit or special pet rooms....just yes he is welcome), snarky (I wrote the fine print, I know what it says, should I make you a copy!--- is what she told me about their policy), and she was in desperate need of a shower.

Clean and basic hotel room for a great price that includes tickets to Noah's Ark. Don't look for frills here but you will have everything you need. Room had a microwave and fridge so that was helpful and we were able to walk right to Noah's ark through the back entrance.
Take note that there is a Flamingo North and South about a block from each other. If you pull up and you can't find the office, you have to go to the other one.
4 stars because we had persistent issues with the room key card but the staff was very friendly.

Where to start.... frankly it's a dump. They have not put a dime into this place in 20 years. Imagine that you are visiting your great aunt who lives in a 1970 ranch style home untouched by time. That is the room you will be given at the Pink Flamingo Hotel. The bathrooms are beyond description. Doors with missing chipboard, staff that barley speaks english, everything done on the cheap. Stayed two nights, discovered they do not clean the rooms each day because people complained. If you wanted your room cleaned you needed to make a special request. First time I had experienced this

Watch your credit card I payed for 2 nights the first one I payed cash the 2nd I payed with my credit card. I went to the front desk to ask questions and they said I never paid for the 2nd night so I called my credit card company and they confirmed that the amount was paid! They still said it wasn't! So now I have to get my money back from dealing with my credit card!!!
And I also have to get new cards because they took out $9 with out permission!!! DONT TRUST THIS MOTEL!!!!!

This is our second stay at Flamingo. The first time was 2 summers ago in July 2015, and currently April 2017. My daughter has a volleyball tournament in town and we needed a place to stay for this weekend. Kalahari wanted $1100 for 2 nights, Chula Vista wanted $784 for 2 night, the Flamingo was a steal at $99 a night AND it included FREE water park tickets to Chula Vista!
I read the other reviews and was shocked and felt I needed to put in my 2 cents.

I've been to the Flamingo before because they offer Noah's Ark tickets for the guests. My expectations weren't much either time but my first time was great. The room was "meh" but the price was hard to beat. Basically $35/night because of the ticket off-set.
My second and most recent time was far worse. We booked a remodeled king suite w/whirlpool. There are multiple places to check-in and the main office sent us to another building. There, we waited 35 minutes while the group (1 group) checked in before us. This was so painful and only one person was working at the time

Stayed here over the weekend. After reading reviews from all over the web I was very hesitant, but i must say we enjoyed our stay here. got room keys promptly at 3:30 and I was pleasently surprised at the room. looked just like the two queen room on the website. bathroom was clean and the fridge was a decent size.
The television was a modern 26" flat screen, which was cool because i was able to connect my laptop via hdmi. the balcony was clean and nice sized. the only problem was that we could not figure out how to turn the balcony light off.

I showed up on a Friday afternoon to meet up with my friends that were already checked in from Thursdays arrival. My plan was to stay until Sunday with them. After seeing the place and being forced to stay overnight, I left as quickly as I could on Saturday morning.
Never in my life have I see/stayed at such a filthy establishment!! I was grossed out from the time I pulled in with my car and now after reading others reviews, I am getting grossed out AGAIN! (Also praying that I DO NOT have bed bugs!)
