If i could rate it 0 i would. The food was terrible. I couldn't tell if the shrimp was bad or not. It smelt like it was bad and was very bitter. Spent 25$ on 6 shrimp. I expected it to be top tier. Overall spent 80$ for 2 people. The miso ramen was overbaring with seasoning. It was actually the worst meals I've ever eaten at a sit down restaurant.

I was told this was a 5 star hotel but unfortunately wasn't very impressed. We were there for my mother's birthday and we had quite a few rooms blocked for it. My sister originally booked her room for 2 and my fiance ended up staying in the dells instead of going home. My sister went to the front desk to ask the add us to her room at first there was a bit of confusion but it was worked out and we were able to stay. The pool was nice and didn't look dirty however the rest of the hotel looked run down. The bathroom had one light that barely lit up the bathroom and when you showered you could barely

Good if you need to stay close to the river... otherwise, for a lower price ( $199 per night during New Years vs. $134) , I'd suggest the Hilton Garden for a lower price HUGE rooms compared to the Vue. The pool and hot tubs were also very nice. For example ... in the Hilton Garden, you can go into the bathroom with ease, if you are an older person, the Vue is tough... there is literally 1 inch between the door closing in the bathroom and the toilet. You have to move out of the way of the door to shut it while going in the bathroom. Lighting in the Vue is harsh and gave me headaches (the blue-ish

The View was beautiful, the beds and pillows were perfect. The room was on the smaller side and the bathroom was really small. Could an update in the bathroom area and a little personality as there were no pictures on the wall. Limited Television Channels.Very Basic. But for the price I paid it was good. Restaurant was average. Service in the evening was good. They serve Starbucks but don't expect your regular cup of Joe as the barista doesn't work at a Starbucks. Breakfast was fast in the restaurant. Can have room service for 18% gratuity. Overall pleasant experience just don't expect a lot.

The staff, to a person, was very friendly. Loved our room, the location, and the view. The bar restaurant had a great breakfast selection, with large portions, and our crew of eight had no complaints whatsoever. Delicious! To top it off, our server Xandria was a delight, parrying our smart-alecky comments with zingers of her own. I would recommend asking for this charming little server! We will definitely be back during the warmer months, when we can spend a little more time downtown.

Great little hotel with amazing views. I believe it's an older building but it's updated and clean inside and out. The beds are comfortable and that's what matters to me most. My only complaint was the noise level-- the walls were thinner than I expected. The room had a heat/AC unit under the window so I turned on the fan and most of the noise was drowned out. If you are a light sleeper or require total silence it could be an issue for you. Book a room with a view for more peace.
The bathrooms in the room are small. I did not have an issue with it, but the space could be tight for those who need

I will say the beds were comfortable, and the view from the window tables at the restaurant were beautiful, but that's where the good parts end...
The online photos look a lot nicer than the room does in person. (In fact, after our stay, I'm fairly confident that the 2 queen + bunk bed room is not even photographed on the website. They use the 2 bedroom + bunks in its place).
First, we had to make the beds on the bunk beds ourselves - the sheets and blankets were folded in a pile at the foot of each bed. The bathroom was tiny and the toilet seat was very loose. And the vanity - for a room that

I would say a 4.5! Loved our room with the view honestly soo worth it! We didn't get the balcony because everyone said bugs and spiders, didn't miss it.. We did kill 3 spiders in our room I get it next to the water buy there is prevention sprays and if the rooms are being cleaned... rooms are basic you are paying for the view and convenience you can walk to the strip it's great and having a good bar and coffee in the hotel was great also!

Terrible customer service, and also note that the windows do not open to allow in fresh air. But the worst part is the very poor customer service.

We came for a long weekend away. The hotel lobby is cozy. Plenty of parking on the lot or across the street. There isn't anyone else really around which made it nice and quiet. Amazing view from their deck and you could dock a boat! We were less than a five minute walk away from down town, you can take the amazing river walk all the way down if you're really wanted too! Or get off at the near by pub, and less then a five minute drive from the water parks and shopping.

The sheets were cozy and clean. The beds were amazing after a long day. Our ac worked, the fridge worked. I REALLY appreciated

One of our family mantras is, "You can't live on view." Even so, the River Inn does a great job of capitalizing on their location and making terrific use of its Wisconsin River view! Though the website photos have obviously seen some computer enhancement, the actual view does not disappoint. If you're vacationing in the Dells with children and you're going to blow it all out in the water parks all day, likely you may find a better place for a family to crash before heading out again. However, if you're a couple and you appreciate the calming serenity of a well-equipped

Don't trust the very deceiving website!! There is actually a very rundown motel across the road that we ended up in, instead of the place on the river that is shown on the website. It smelled musty and gross. There was NO heat (in October!), and the manager was a haughty, snobby B____.! Not even a small try at an apology. She blamed us for requesting that other bldg. We didn't even know it existed!! The pool andhot tub, and restaurant are all in the newer bldg across the road, and since it was cold that night, we didn't use the hot tub as we didn't want to walk across

When we first looked at everything online this seemed like the perfect place to stay at the dells, 5 minutes away, free pass to Noah's Water park and admission to the Tombavati Wildlife Zoo. Now those two things were very nice and are the only reason this is getting a 2 stars. The pool is nice and everything, but now let's talk about the bad.

When we arrived we were told our reservation didn't go through, and we were kicked from the hotel to the motel, on the other side of the street. As we walked over there we were greeted with a man leaving a room swearing and asking for a refund

This hotel is one of the worst I have stayed at. Not only is there two separate building across from each other which was not mentioned during the booking process but the room that we reserved online was not at all what we received. Most of the things that were supposed to be included were not. When asked, the receptionist had nothing to say about the disappointment. The room that we received was in the second building across the street which again was not mentioned in the booking process and there is no cell service. Also, the amenities are mostly in the main building and the walk across the street

Poor management! I called them about an issue I was having and was told that there was no manager available. When I explained my issue the person on the phone HUNG UP on me!! When I have stayed there in the past the rooms have been dirty, they are a low quality hotel and the management was completely opposed to helping me solve my problem with them. They do not care about the customer, only the money they are getting from you, doesn't matter how they get your money.

This is one of the very few hotels in Wisconsin Dells that is right on the river. I'm sorry I can't to post my photos here. There are beautiful views of the Wisconsin River through my windows. The River Inn has been family run for many years so it has genuinely warm staff. They have a wide range of rooms and prices. No matter which room you have, you can use the pools, the sauna, the whirlpool, and dine or have a drink at their restaurant.

Total "bait and switch" tactics. I had a very similar experience as Ashley C. did 6/18/2017 if you see her review from earlier.

I booked a "Bridge View" room. But when we arrived, the room looked NOTHING like what's shown on River Inn's website at https://www.dellsriverinn.com/rooms-and-suites/bridge-view/. In fact, that webpage for the Bridge View rooms says that those rooms have "50 inch LCD TVs with high definition programming, convenient USB plugins, led lighting and all new temperature control units". Our room had NONE of those things: It had a maybe

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel was really nice and clean. Comfortable beds and great river view. There is an indoor hot tub and a pool area in which you can just hang out with very comfy couches. The bar is a great addition to the hotel and a great hangout spot!
The girl at the front desk was so kind- great customer service! I wish I remembered her name. I know she is Romanian, such a sweet heart. Very helpful, always smiling and it makes the guests feel welcomed!
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this hotel!

3 stars. It was an okay stay. We came here for a family getaway and it was my first time at the Dells. Good for families with smaller children 10 and under.

Pros: beautiful view of the river every morning, close to downtown within walking distance, updated interior, laundry facilities are free but you have to bring you own soap or just purchase it, indoor pool and hot tub kids loved it, additional free parking across from the hotel,

Cons:
Total lack of storage cabinets none what so ever
Front desk staff were hard to understand with a foreign accent
Unsafe if there was a fire, with one stairway
