As a mixed animal practice, our medical staff and facility have the flexibility to provide a quality degree of veterinary care while maintaining the local, small town, family-like feel that you would expect from your veterinarian. We are prepared to offer a wide range of services for companion animals as well as haul-in facilities for large animals' medical needs.

Clean teeth can lead to a healthier lifestyle, and is another part of preventative medicine. Dake Veterinary Clinic believes that when you travel for pleasure or business, you shouldn't have to worry if your pets are in safe hands.
Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 5 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure. Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery. Also a pre-anesthetic blood screen is recommended prior to undergoing anesthesia and surgery.

After taking our standard poodle in to the emergency clinic they wanted us to take him to our regular vet ASAP so took him straight there. And the lady in the office was not nice or helpful wouldn’t even look at the paper work. Just said they can’t do anything cause dr was not there. But she didn’t even look at the paper work or nothing. Or offer info when he mite be in. She was short and rude about it.

We had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our family dog down. She was 15 yrs old an her health was failing. Dr. Drake and his staff were very compassionate about it he made sure we knew every step that was going to happen. He gave us the option to stay with our girl thru it all or leave after the first shot. We stayed with her till the end. I will definitely be bringing my other pet to him.
