The food was nothing special. I have certainly had better Chinese food. Purchased a combo and added the soup which they gave a larger portion of soup than expected which was nice. I ordered chicken with cashew nuts and asked for no veggies. I order the dish in this way all the time from many different restaurants and for the first time ever I was told I would be charged $2 extra bc there would be "extra chicken". Looking at the dish if there was more chicken, then I assume there would be barely any chicken if I received vegetables. Also, I ordered a chicken noodle soup and asked for no chicken

Found a thick black nasty hair in my food. It was disgusting!!!!! Right on top, it was simply careless and nasty! Yes, they refunded my money but what else were they going to do? This was my favorite place to eat, and they completely ruined it!!! I will never eat here again. I suggest others be careful eating here also. The only reason I’m leaving a review is because of how badly it turned my stomach and how easily they brushed it off. Disgusting!

Use to be my fav Chinese restaurant in the area, but the quality of service has been steadily decreasing. Today ordered what I have always ordered when eating here, and they messed the order up twice. When I called to complain they offered 5 dollars credit which equaled about half of the messed up part of the order. This is not the first time the exact same thing happened I'd say about the last 4 orders I have gotten here were messed up with no real compensation. Been eating here for years but this will be the last time I ever order from here again.

On some dishes, there's a very big difference between takeout Chinese restaurants and sitdown restaurants. When you get food from a takeout place you shouldn't be experimenting. Stick to what you know you like here. For example, get common things. I tried the pan fried noodles, but that was the wrong thing to order here. Don't. I wouldn't try duck here. The pan fried noodles were more like the kind of crispy noodles you get for free and put mustard or duck sauce on. They're not supposed to be that crispy after being dipped in sauce. They are supposed to soften up

Yummy Chinese food for the price. I gave it 5 stars not because the food is the best ever. However, for the price and for the fact that it's a fast food take out Chinese, it's 5 star! I've tried lots of Chinese take out places in and near union county and among all of them this place is 5 star.
If you want yummy Chinese food at a pretty good price this is the place to go.

I used to be a faithful customer to this establishment however over the course of time their service has degraded along with the food quality. The chicken wings are now super greasy fried too hard almost burnt. The oil they use is very old as it can be tasted.i am just disappointed. I will no longer be a faithful customer. I've moved on. Don't bother ordering and testing this review.

This place has the worst customer service ever. Called and ordered cold sesame noodles, 2 minutes later I went there because I realized I never had it and wanted to ask more before they got to make it (also told me 15 minutes). Guy that works there who has been rude before said oh its already made. When I ordered it I already asked them to put very little sauce which they already didn't do. I asked if they could please remake it with the sauce on the side. His response was no I can't have you re-order it. I asked why, his response was because you already ordered it and I can't remake

A few years ago, China Moon used to be one of the better take-out Chinese food places in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood area. But ever since it changed management, the food hasn't gone down-hill -- it has plummeted. Now I would put on on par with Rice Inn (which, per my Yelp review, is pretty much only good at cooking rice).

I was so famished this evening so I checked yelp for reviews on local chinese restaurants. I was sort of excited because I was trying a new place since moving into the community 3 years ago and China Moon had a few positive reviews plus 4 stars. I was very much disappointed;1st, I waited almost 1 hour and 15 mins because the delivery man lost my # then the food was even more of a disappointment. The chicken wings looked like they were on steroids with alot of fat, not muscle. The wontons were so dry(never had any like that before) and the general tso's chicken was so spicy that it would knock

I would give them 4.5 the food is great and they don't skimp on the meat or vegetables like main star. My boyfriend and I have ordered from here several times and always try something new and never are disappointed. The food is always delivered in under 30 minutes and is a great price. This place is def the best Chinese that delivers in the area.
