In 1998, Dakota joined Janice (founder of Spa Paws Hotel) as a member of the family. The inspiration for Spa Paws Hotel, Dakota was a silver Chinchilla Persian with gorgeous turquoise eyes. At just four years old, Dakota fell ill and was rushed to the Veterinary Referral Hospital in Dallas under the great care of Dr. Ducote, a neurologist.

Beware!!!!!! Do not use this facility. They scheduled my dogs grooming appointment. I went to pick her up and she was not groomed at all. The worker said oh you didn’t know it’s baths only? No one relayed that Information to me and $57 later for a bath? Do not come here unless you want to be scammed. This is a scamming facility. This operation has poor management and is scamming people. The owner, Janice, is unbelievably unprofessional, rude, and treats her staff horribly and lies to her customers regularly about the services provided/conditions of the hotel. Good reviews are asked for directly in exchange for discounts just so she can try to offset the poorly starred reviews reflected by the MANY others who tell the truth. I wish I could give this place zero stars. Never thought I would pay premium pricing ($70/day for a 25lb spaniel) for piss-poor service. Dropped my dog off the evening before I left town. I noticed the front dog room (facing the parking lot) had two dogs in there. I saw what appeared to be liquids ALL over the floor. It could have been water from their bowls or dog urine I'm not sure. I asked them if I could see the room my dog would be staying in. They wouldn't let me. I also asked what he would be sleeping on, they said a blanket. Unfortunately they don't provide anything other

Kennels are falling apart and dogs are in them. I would pay the extra to see how terrible the conditions are on the nanny cams. The dogs are forced in these terrible kennels hardly played and it's sad. Do not leave them here! Only excuse to give is "renovations"

My boyfriends golden doodle got E Coli after staying at Spa Paws, she has also had previous ear infections due to being groomed at Spa Paws. After awesome grooming for two years.... spa paws has really gone down hill. Janice has scheduled his dog and Janice would reschedule several times.... She then offered a free groom for my troubles when we took our golden doodle in we told them not to shave her but they shaved her whole body to where she didn't even look like a golden doodle anymore!!! I’ve taken my boys there since they were puppies, going on 6 years. My boys love going there and I know the owner has strict standards and my dogs are treated extremely well. The owner does not allow anything less than exemplary care. It is a full service facility and you can trust your fur babies are well cared for.

I have had nothing but great experiences here! The dogs are always so excited to be going to Spa Paws. The staff truly cares for these animals. The amount of time and energy that the owner puts fourth in this business is incredible! Every business has its ups and downs , especially with staffing and improving but that comes with nothing less of wanting what is best for these pets. This place is beautiful. The owner is a piece of work. I just got a very nasty voicemail from her (which I have saved). I work with an animal supply company that manufacturers pet furniture. I dropped off a piece for Janice to look at (since she's never available to speak to) saying that we would be back in week or so. After a week we hadn't heard from Janice so we went back to retrieve our sample. The manager, Victoria, had Janice on the phone asking how much she owed because she gave the item to one of her clients. When I got back to the office I sent her pricing. No response

ATTENTION ALL DOG LOVERS....This is the best place for your dog for daycare, boarding, or grooming. I have lived from the East Coast to West Coast, and now Texas and Spa Paws Hotel is the best dog care establishment by far. The 24/7 operation and flexible hours to include early drop offs and late pickups have made my work life so much easier to manage.
The staff is top notch and really care about the dogs and the owner knows her business and the art of great customer service. So, if you are looking for a great place for your furry friend look no further!

Spa paws is a beautiful place and the people I have worked with have always been nice..... HOWEVER I have taken my dog there twice and BOTH times when I got her home she was extremely sick. The first time, I took her to the vet and they diagnosed her with kennel cough. I brushed it off and decided to just let it go thinking it was a coincidence. A few months later we needed to board her there again and when I picked her up she was visibly sick and there were signs of diarrhea on her bed. When I called to check on her they just told me she was doing great and having fun. There was no mention her

This grooming spa is amazing. They also have an on-site vet, a gourmet pet food store, killer pup accessories, a doggie daycare and a hotel with air conditioned pup suites

Oh my this place is amazing & first class all the way. The "hotel rooms" are nicer than some of the rooms I've stayed in. If you're getting your dog groomed you they offer free doggie daycare! From the minute we walked in we were treated like we were checking into a five-star hotel! I highly recommend

We left written instructions on how we wanted our small dogs groomed. When we picked our dogs up, one of our dogs was completely shaved (what we absolutely told them not to do in our written instructions). The bill was over $200. The girl stated the price was higher because of how long it took to brush the tail (the only part that wasn't shaved).
Our dogs also contracted kennel cough after being boarded there (they're current on all vaccinations). We paid over $100/ night for our 2 dogs to stay there.

I am only coming to yelp after having no luck with the establishment. As I have read back through the reviews I am not the first to have an experience like this. I usually have a great experience at spa paws. The service is usually great and they do a great job grooming her. But mostly recently when they groomed her I picked her up with cut marks on both of her legs. Also half of her ears were buzzed down to he skin and not the other half. I have attached pictures to the site. The groomer claims it was intentional and a westies ear tips are always shaved. I have yet to see a westie with a similar
