My husband and I stayed at the Stockyard Hotel during a 2 night, weekend getaway. We could have chosen a more modern hotel in the area, but we wanted to have the complete adventure of the Ft Worth Stockyards.
The hotel was very nice, and we felt as if we had stepped back in time for a while. We stayed in the Outlaw Room, 2nd floor, corner of East Exchange Ave and Main Street. It was very comfortable, except for the bathroom being a bit tight, but that was to be expected since we were giving up modern for the feel of the old west. I had requested extra washcloths when I reserved the room, but we

Love it! Not as deluxe as the Driver, but we liked it better. Very upscale with true feeling of old Texas. Full of character! Great price, dog friendly.

This is the coolest hotel! The people were really friendly, with the exception of the rude lady that checked us out. Great location! Take the time to walk around inside and check out the history of the hotel.

The location, lobby and restaurant are excellent. It's very noisy on the weekends, but that's too be expected in this area. The biggest disappointment is the lack of coffee/ breakfast (at an early hour). Once the coffee is set out at 7:30am, it's terrible. For the price paid to stay here, improving the morning experience would be a cheap and appreciated improvement.

If you get a street view room, it's best to have a white noise machine in tow. WHERE DO ALL THESE ANNOYING MOTORCYCLES COME FROM? Seriously. Jeez Louise.

Other than that, it's a great place to stay. Walking distance to Stockyards and Joe T Garcia's. Valet parking is the only option, but nice to ditch the car for a while.

Love the registration desk. But the sqeaky stairs make me feel like it might be haunted. Restaurant is onsite and convenient.

Loved the ceiling fan in the room but did not like the lack of outlets. YES, it's historic; I get that. But I'm spoiled.

I initially invested a total of $500 over a period of 5 weeks. My bonus/profit was $6,050, every attempt to make withdrawal failed and I was instructed to make another deposit of $2,500 before I can make withdrawals which I did. till now, I'm still unable to make withdrawals and all attempts to contact brokers have failed. This is very pathetic and… I felt so bad losing my investment. I did a due diligence test before investing with them but guess what I ended up getting burned. This is to create awareness, not everybody can be as lucky as I was. I'm saying this because I was able to recover

Love the charm of this old hotel. Staff is helpful. Old pull toilet is a bit frustrating but that's part of the originality. Stay here, have your food at H3 charged to your room. You're right in the thick of all the activities. Enjoy them all. Valet fee is a one time charge and you can come and go as you please. 20.00.

As a self proclaimed cheapskate, I'm usually pretty critical where I spend my money. I have to say this is a great place to stay. I was skeptical of the price but it's money we'll spent for a great time. The ambiance is genuine old west. Nothing is over polished or contrived. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and well furnished. Bathroom was clean and in appropriate order for the setting of the room. While I plan on spending most of my time touring the stockyards, I am looking forward to a good night sleep. Zach and the girls at the desk were very friendly and welcoming. I will

We accidentally booked our room for July instead of June when we booked for July there’s like $250 but when we got here they had rooms available and that was when we became aware of the situation what they charged us $420 for the room I was very disappointed in the service not even a free breakfast for 400 bucks I will never come back here again And we ate at the restaurant next-door and found out it is the same owner of the hotel and breakfast was $45 for two of us and it wasn’t anything to write home about not a very good experience

The hotel is charming and even has a hotel room where Bonnie and Clyde stayed. The lobby is cozy. There are shops across the street and the weekend cattle drive (Friday, Sat, Sun) is just down a block.

Super polite and friendly knowledgeable staff. The hotel is a historical structure and if you keep this in mind you will be happy. The location is perfect and very easy to find.. the beds are comfortable and… the furnishings are appropriate for the age of the hotel. I would stay here again. Our room is quiet. It does not have a view, but we are not here for the view. Great fun!

We did not get to stay at the hotel. We had lunch and walked all around. The charm of this hotel is perfect. Feels like you stepped back into the Wild West at an upscale hotel. The place is clean and the staff was wonderful. They explained several of the unique pieces of art and items in the lobby. I would love to stay here next time I am in the area.

We stayed here in our wedding night. It was truly a wonderful night. Right in the heart of the stockyards. We spent a couple hours at the bar downstairs and it was so fun with some great margaritas! Then the room was large with a wonderful view and very clean. It also had some history to it which I loved! We had a wonderful time and the service af the front desk was great! I would highly highly recommend this place to anyone!

The hotel itself is very nice. The room we stayed in was the loudest room I have ever stayed it. Everytime the air conditioner turn on it sounded like a train passing. The toilet is the old style that you pull the chain down. The toilet would wake my wife when it flushed. The loudest part was the people talking next door. They were not yelling, they were talking in their normal voice and we could hear every word they spoke. The stay for us was not an enjoyable stay.

This place is very historic. The staff is very friendly. Valet is quick but even if you stay the night there it's $15 a day/night. Our view was on the stockyard side so it was a bit noisy but that came with the territory there were earplugs by the bed. The walls are VERY thin.. so take that advice how you need. There's a basket in the room with things to purchase even snacks, so if you're a drunk eater... you may have to pay for a snickers bar. The bed was very comfy and the AC worked great. The only complaint, there was mold on the shower head. Ick.

Fun and rustic hotel right at the stockyards. A bit noisey due to the H3 restaurant next door. The interior was clean, the beds were comfortable. Plenty of closet space with the huge armoire. WiFi was excellent and the staff was great.

We arrived in DFW to learn that our Airbnb cancelled. Ohio State was playing TCU and the town was mobbed. We were there for a wedding. Ruben from guest services was incredible. From booking the room, to allowing an early check in, to just being kind and professional, he made us feel welcome. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the king size bed was one of the best I've slept in. Very clean. The hotel restaurant was great for breakfast. The drinks from the bar were very good. The staff were all around friendly and professional.

This is a historic hotel that dates back before the automobile. I did not stay overnight here, but hung out in the lobby and hotel saloon. The whole surroundings seems to stay unchanged except a few minor modern upgrades like air conditioning, televisions, and smoke detectors. The lobby had great seating and great place to hangout.

The saloon is traditional western 1800s with saddle seating at the bar. There are a lot of western art hung all around this hotel. Outside on the corner you will find the gift shop basically selling items on the street.

They do have valet parking if you plan to

My wife and I arrived on the red eye from California. Even though check-in is at 3:00, the staff kindly took care of us.

Love love love this place! I can't say enough good things and can't believe I hadn't reviewed sooner.
I was gifted a package that included an overnight stay, admission to the rodeo, dinner at the restaurant downstairs and breakfast by my parents as a college graduation gift last summer.
The hotel is perfectly located right smack dab in the middle of the stockyards. The downstairs common area was beautifully decorated and had ample seating options.
The rooms were perfect! Huge, comfy, beds, TV, sitting area, the usual. And of course a great view of downtown.

I needed to find a place to have a large group dinner and Leah was so helpful. I had a group of 40 plus and we ended up renting the banquet room and bar/patio area. I opted for some appetizers and a cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner. The food was good and the girls serving us were great. Plates and glasses/bottles were constantly being picked up. My only complaint was how long it took to finally close out our bill. I would recommend it if you've got out of town guests and want the authentic Texas feel.

We had a great stay at the Stockyards Hotel. We chose the Geronimo room and boy did we love it. The decor was authentic Texas and the service great. Its proximity to the attractions makes everything walkable and part of the charm. It is close to restaurants, the Historic District, and shopping. We only wish we weren't just driving through as a few more days here would have been great!
