Over the years, we've learned something very valuable, yet largely unrecognized by the general public: a funeral or memorial ceremony offers family and friends the opportunity to say goodbye to a loved one, and sets the stage for the healing process which follows. It doesn't have to be an elaborate event.

No matter if a death is sudden, or if it something that was a long time coming, the loss of a loved one makes us feel emotional and overwhelmed. We could not be happier with Jeff as we were able to locate the ashes of our loved one after 35 years. Even though he was not required to, he held her in safe keeping until she could be claimed by her family. If we could leave 10 stars, we would. Thank you Jeff, you have truly brought us so much peace after our decades-long search!

During an incredibly challenging time for our nation and the world, our family suffered the loss of a wife of nearly 53 years, a mother of 49 years and a grandmother of 21 years due to natural causes. There should be more stars for Jeff. He was with us for both my Mom and Dad's funerals. Most recently, we just buried mom yesterday. Jeff should get all the stars.
From the very first sentences he spoke - late on a Saturday night - Jeff was reassuring, comforting, and most of all professional. This guy knows his stuff. Every detail is taken care of. I can't tell you how important to know, while I was in a mental fog of mourning, that Jeff was taking care of every detail. I must have said to myself a dozen times "Jeff will take care of that" during a short two day period.

I can’t express enough how wonderful the Rocky Point Funeral home treated me. Jeff and his team are compassionate, kind and meticulous. They handled every detail. My dad’s service was so touching.
I also want to point out that my dad used Rocky Point Funeral home in the past for his late wives- and the service was just as great.

It never occurred to me to call anyone else. I like the fact that it's a friendly, caring place. They make you feel like you are the only person they are tending to. They worked hard and gave lots of extra time to making sure everything was done like it was supposed to. Made phone calls and just took care of all the little details. Jeff gives you all the information and choices and doesn't judge whatever you choose. Olga was there to help with whatever we needed. You never feel like you are inconveniencing them.

Jeff provided me and my family with thorough and excellent service, from start to finish. He showed us options for various goods and services at many different costs. He followed up about any changes or updates and dealt directly with the cemetery on our behalf. We were able to just show up, put up our displays, and have the visitation with friends and family, with no additional stress. I even requested more acknowledgment cards, after the fact. Jeff had them ready the next morning, and at no additional cost to me. I highly recommend Rocky Point Funeral Home, should you ever find yourself in the

My family would highly recommend the Rocky Point Funeral Home. It is family owned and we felt that we were treated with the utmost care. Jeff's compassion during this difficult time made the process easier than expected. I know my mom would have been very pleased with the arrangements.
