Services
McManus-Lorey Funeral Home was established in 1966 by owner and funeral director James B. McManus. The funeral home is centrally located on Long Island, one block north of the Long Island Expressway (I-495) between old Farmingville and the rapidly growing town of Medford. In addition to the three large viewing chapels, McManus-Lorey also offers an arrangement office and Victorian decorated receiving area and lobby as well as a children's lounge.
Staff members of McManus Lorey Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Dorothy C. Pacimeo-Comodore, CFSP is a licensed Funeral Director.
McManus-Lorey Funeral Home is located in Medford, New York. We can be found in Suffolk County in the Town of Brookhaven. The Funeral Home is on Horse Block Road (County Road 16) between North Ocean Avenue (County Road 83/Long Island Expressway Exit 63) and Route 112 (Long Island Expressway Exit 64).
No matter if a death is sudden, or if it something that was a long time coming, the loss of a loved one makes us feel emotional and overwhelmed. No amount of preparation can fully prepare you for the loss of a loved one. When you are in a heightened emotional state, even the most basic decisions can seem staggering.

My dad died about a month ago.We used McManus-Lorey and they were awesome-kind,caring, went the extra mile. They are a family business..
They even tracked down both pastors who were at the service because I wanted a copy of what they read at the service. Christian gave it to me a few days later. I honestly can't say enough good things about them.

Lovely funeral home with very clean restrooms that smell like roses. The staff were helpful and the rooms well appointed with flat screen tvs and plenty of seating. We had my husbands grandmothers viewing here- she lived to be 102!!
Plenty of parking and the home itself was surrounded with stable-like white fencing hence the road name "horseblock rd."
