I came into the gym yesterday and tried to get a membership with my wife and they only had one key card left, so they let me work out for free, after my wife got a membership. I tried coming back today and Mathew sent me away after I tried to tell him the situation, he explained that he had already logged off and didn’t want to log back into his system. I tried to explain that I’m active duty military and I’m only here for a month on leave after just coming home from overseas. He still told me to come back tomorrow. This is ridiculous.

Left about 7 years ago because an employee walked in to the tanning room while my wife was in the booth and proceded to try and hold a conversation. Complained to management but nothing was done so we left. Thought I'd go back and give a go once more. The kid working behind the counter didn't address me until he was done on his phone and then proceeded to act as if I was bothering him when I asked about the fees. When I asked him basic questions he stated he didn't know and that I could take the membership form with me because I obviously was interfering with his phone time. As first impressions

I have had memberships at Eagle Fitness, Fitness for 10, Anytime Fitness and River Vista. River Vista is by far the best out of the bunch. No hassle membership when paid in full for 1 year. Equipment is good quality, maintained and in good shape. Most importantly it is clean. The staff are professional, friendly and polite. Other members are courteous and respectful. The Flooring and mats, which most people don't pay attention to is good. The Flooring looks like stamped concrete and is kept clean, and most importantly the mats are trip free, unlike fitness for 10 in Carson city where their mats

I have always been impressed with how clean this gym is but since reopening post-lockdown the gym has met all of my expectations. I don't worry about my children going to the kids club because it too has been sanitized. I do appreciate that the gym has a 24 hour option so that I can workout during non-peak hours. The staff is always friendly and my 4 year old loves running through the front door to greet Gina, the manager. As a healthcare employee, I appreciate the cleanliness and all of the changes that have been implemented to keep us all safe.

So I'm not a member here, but have been working out there since they reopened after the lockdown and they invited healthcare professionals work out for free. First of all, thanks for letting me work out. Second of all, if I lived in or around Dayton, this would be my gym. Super nice employees, place is super clean, and while I've been working out there, it's not been busy at all. Plenty of equipment, variety of cardio etc. Feels so good to be back in a gym and I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking for one in the Dayton area. Thank you guys for opening up and sharing

Horrible customer service. My husband and I signed up to use River Vista Fitness when we first moved to Dayton. Recently, we got a puppy and could not dedicate any time to the gym while she is still so little. We decided to cancel our membership temporarily, with the plan to re-join once our puppy got a little bigger and could stay home for longer stretches of time. I cancelled in September, but my husband decided to keep his for an extra few months. On November 4th he called and stated he would like his gym membership cancelled. We were informed that there was a 30-day cancellation period, so

Great hidden gym ! Basically the only gym in Dayton lol but the gym is very clean, not overcrowded, and friendly staff. Gym has great work out equipment as well as a good amount of weights for the heavy lifters. If I could make an improvement I would add a sauna but still a great place to get your sweat on daily !

By far my favorite gym I've ever been a part of! Sam the owner/manager is awesome and is always willing to work with me when I need to cancel for a month on and off due to my school schedule! The machines are always in great shape, clean and maintenanced. You don't get stuck in any contracts and it's never extremely over crowded. Also the air feels very clean and filtered, it doesn't seem to get the hot, sticky, boxed in feeling. I love it there :)

This is hands down the best gym I have been to. Not a fancy gym, but the laid back, friendly staff make going here enjoyable! No sales pitches or phoniness like you get at the big chain gyms. The equipment is in good shape and clean, and there is enough variety to satisfy most people.

It's a pretty nice gym with a good variety of newer equipment. There's only one stair master and squat rack. But it doesn't seem like leg day is very popular around here because it's always open, so no big deal. Just wish the rack was placed in front of a mirror--it's so helpful to be able to watch your form. I really dislike the dumb bells because they are the wide bulky kind that hit your wrist and everything else--very, very uncomfortable. The benches are old, worn, very low and not adjustment versatile. It's kept fairly clean which is nice, until you look behind

This gym is great! It has the latest equipment and the place is kept clean! I only wish the hours were a little longer on the weekends. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly!!
They even allow children 10 and over, so you can bring your child with you and teach them fitness at a young age.
They also provide daycare and the ladies running it are great!!!
