Salmon Creek Physical Therapy was founded in 1994. Dean Barrus PT was one of the original partners and later acquired the full practice in 1997. Salmon Creek PT relocated to its current location in 2000 and began its expansion. With Vancouver Rehabilitation and Therapy Clinic as a sister clinic, the resources and specialties of our skilled therapists, together as a team, allow a complete spectrum of services offered to the community.

We have succeeded in offering kind, educated, and compassionate care to our patients.
Dean founded Vancouver Rehabilitation in 1984, and later founded Camas Physical Therapy and Salmon Creek Physical Therapy. He was raised in Vancouver and received his physical therapy degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Ill. He and his wife have raised five children in the Vancouver area and they are now happy grandparents.

I'm not sure who Dean is (reviews below). Maybe that was the previous owner? Whoever is in charge now is fantastic! Mike, Joslyn, Ashley... they've all been super positive, encouraging, knowledgeable and helpful. I'm not new to PT (this is the 3rd office I've used to recover from sport's related injuries). I'd say Salmon Creek PT is just as good (if not better) than the other experiences I've had with other offices in Vancouver.

I agree with the review below. The staff were very nice, but the owner, Dean Barrus, was not. They charge far too much for their services, even things that I could have done at home, such as exercises. Instead they charged me $100 to do 10 minutes of exercises. Instead, they should have shown me the exercises to do at home. The owner is a very greedy man and does not give any leeway on co-pays or discounts for cash patients. This was my first physical therapist and I didn't know any better until I went elsewhere. I suggest you try elsewhere and not visit salmon creek physical therapy. They are
