Students young and old benefit from a curriculum focused on our Student Creed and the Eight Virtues of the Black Belt. 1. Develop myself in a positive manner and avoid anything that would reduce my mental growth and physical health. 3. Use what I learn in class constructively and defensively to help myself and my fellow man, and never to be abusive or offensive.
At the Randall School of Karate, our mission is to make our students more successful in life through their practice of Uechi Karate at our school. Through our experience and teaching, and our students' service culture, we strive daily to produce individuals who are positive, respected, and contributing members of society.

Our mission is to make our students more successful in life through their practice of Uechi Ryu Karate. We do this by teaching Karate as a complete discipline of Mind, Body, and Spirit, which in addition to developing physical defense, encourages the formation of high personal standards and respect for fellow men and women.
The Randall School of Karate teaches kids how to defend themselves, but not in the hardcore, violent way you might imagine. We teach our students to be safe by using a common sense approach to protection. This means understanding self-defense techniques, self-defense strategy, and conflict resolution techniques.
Classes are divided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced as well as by age into Junior, Teen, and Adult. Our classes are divided according to the ability and age of our students. We do this so that our students can work with other students at comparable stages of their development, both in terms of karate ability and, for younger students, in terms of physical size and strength.
Want to feel more confident and secure as you enjoy your daily life? Reduce your concerns about bullies, criminals, and other threatening people by taking some time to learn self-defense. We make it easy and fun, and will give you a good workout in the process. In this program, we teach people to effectively defend themselves using only their bodies and their wits.
It's time to start planning for Jedi Training Camp for Spring and Summer 2020! Enrollment during each of these camps will be limited, so call or email early to reserve your spot. The price for a week of summer camp is $130 for the first family member. Additional siblings get a 10% discount. The price for the Spring Break session is $30 per day.

I have been studying karate off and on for over the past 40 years. My first Sensei was Buzz Durkin who is currently out of Atkinson NH. He set the bench mark about as high as it can go. I didn't appreciate or understand what I had there until I relocated and had to find another Karate dojo. Recently, I enrolled at the Randall School of Karate in Exeter NH. Bruce Randall (also a student of Buzz Durkin), is by far the absolute best karate instructor I've had the pleasure to study under since Buzz. He truly lives by the virtues of a black belt, with INTEGRITY and COMPASSION leading

Mr. Randall is an excellent instructor. For younger students he is not only teaching karate techniques but life skills, respect, confidence. He also emphasizes responsibility and how karate is to be used. I.e not to hurt others. For adult students interested in martial arts he is a wealth of knowledge. He's not the type of,instructor that just says this is how its always been, done. He allows for questions and discussions. He keeps it real by breaking down what may appear to be impractical and explains differences between the technique learned (theory) versus applied. I have found the teaching to

Mr. Randall is an excellent teacher. He has an ability to connect with the kids and get them to think about things on another level... one of the goals of Karate classes for my 7 year old.
In addition to that, the classes are always fun, involved, and focus on new skills / lessons every time.
Highly recommend giving it a try.

This was my first foray into self-defense, with a secret ambition to possibly continue on to take karate classes. I've learned so much from my instruction with Bruce, whose self defense curriculum is well rounded, intensive, informative, compassionate, and, dare I say, fun.
As an instructor, Bruce is always encouraging and knows when to push his students further and when to hold back. I really enjoyed his self defense class and am looking forward to joining karate class in the fall.
The studio is impeccable - large, airy, clean. There is plenty of parking.
