As someone who has been with Karate International since I was 4, I can say there is no other school that does quite what they do. The instructors here pushed me to be the best version of myself and I'm glad they did. Not to mention the teaching staff is incredibly well versed and you can tell they care about what they're saying. I wish there was a 6th star on google reviews because this school deserves that and more.

I have been training at karate international for about seven years and have had nothing but an amazing experience. Learning from the greatest of mentors who guided me through not only my martial arts journey but life itself. Karate International Exeter has been a focal point in our family's life for over a decade. My son, who has trained since he was 4 years old and myself both currently train there. I can not say enough great things about them. They do an excellent job teaching martial arts along with doing an excellent job teaching their students to be honorable members of society. They have a community dedication and are always there for anyone not just their own members. We consider ourselves to be very lucky to be part of the KI family!

I personally have been a student of karate international for the last 20 or so years and my 2 oldest kids went for a number of years before me moved out of the area. When moving back to the area and asking what activities they wanted to do going back to karate was what they suggested immediately. This shows the impact and positive environment and program they run at Karate International.

When you join Karate International, you don't just join a dojo to learn karate, you also gain an extended family that helps you or your child succeed in life. You won't find a more passionate group of people who teach valuable skills of self defense, discipline, respect, community, and working towards goals. They also offer amazing opportunities for teens to connect with one another with their community programs. Highly recommend giving Karate International of Exeter a try. Mr. Wharem and the KI staff are excellent, everyone has positive attitudes and are very knowledgeable. The classes are the perfect balance of learning martial arts and self- discipline while having fun. KI also offers lots of certification classes for the kids to learn additional skills. My son looks forward to every class and private lesson. His one complaint, is that he wishes the classes lasted hours!

I can not say enough good about this place. My son has Autism and ADHD, and 10 years ago his father and I went looking for something for him to do. We called a dozen places. KI Exeter was the only place that called back. Mr English and Mr Wharem are amazing with all of their young people. The rest of the staff is just as amazing and most started as students at KI. The pricing is very reasonable, even for the private lessons. I highly recommend them. I am proud to say, they are all Team Talin, even on the hardest of days .

My daughter has been going here for 14 years. The instructors are very professional and have high expectations of the kids, but nothing that they can't meet. I love how family-friendly the dojo is. They've helped my daughter through thick and thin through her childhood and teens always helping her come through more confident on the other side. I highly suggest this dojo to anyone looking for a place with incredibly knowledgeable instructors, many different types of classes to choose from, and just a fun place to be. When you go to the dojo you truly feel like family.
