Located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Park's Taekwondo School offers world-class taekwondo training to students of any age or ability level. Widely practiced as a form of self defense, taekwondo is also a way of life that promotes mental and physical fitness, and respect for self and others.

Park's Taekwondo students learn from World Taekwondo Federation Grandmaster Sun Woo Park, an eighth-dan black belt who brings a lifetime of knowledge and experience to martial arts training.He leads an experienced team of black belt instructors, including several fifth- and sixth-dan masters. Students learn taekwondo's kicking, punching and blocking techniques through instruction, practice and sparring.

Park's Taekwondo School is housed in a 3,500 square foot dojang on 535 Peverly Hill Road in Portsmouth., The dojang, one of the largest in New England, offers the best possible training environment. The two training areas have padded floors, mirrored walls, punching/kicking bags and stretching equipment.
Grandmaster Park speaks to all prospective students about their expectations and goals before enrolling them. Parents of minor children should also plan to speak with Grandmaster Park along with their sons and daughters. Park's Taekwondo School is located at 535 Peverly Hill Road in Portsmouth, just up the street from the Seacoast YMCA.
Grandmaster Sun Woo Park has spent most of his life studying, teaching and promoting taekwondo. His experience includes self defense training, tournament sparring and officiating. He is also an active member of regional and national organizations that influence taekwondo's development. Grandmaster Park's taekwondo studies started when he was a young boy in Korea and continued through his youth and his service in the South Korean military.

So I have to admit, I hold a second degree blackbelt as a result of my training with Grand Master Sun Woo Park (although grad school has conspired to move me to Boston and make my attendance negligible in the last year or so). That being said, I cannot recommend the school enough. Mast Park is hands on, especially with the kids classes, and he is patient while managing to take no sass. My Dad regularly remarks that if I hadn't started at Park's Taekwondo that I would have ended up in military school.
