3,000 is the approximate number of events Catherine has catered throughout her career. The food business is the only industry she's ever worked in! She's opened restaurants in California, Hawaii and Oregon and has lived in Portland for the last 20 years. Her love of food & hospitality has deep Southern roots in Louisiana and Texas.

Chefs was the caterer at my cousin’s wedding. It was the best wedding I have ever been to…that includes my own. 😁 The food was admittedly a small portion but the food was great and the staff was perfect and the service was spectacular. So much so I asked for a card so I could post this review a week after the wedding. That should tell you enough on its own. But if you need more. I don’t even live in Oregon. That is how much I enjoyed them. Of course, I did not pay but I bet it was worth the money.

Through the incredible challenges of 2020, Chefstable brilliantly catered our wedding and rehearsal dinner. They creative prepared foods to ensure safety without compromising quality or experience. The service throughout our reception was attentive, mindful and polished. We couldn't be any more grateful to Kate, who heroically changed gears with us a million times. Thank you for preparing the BEST plant-based menus for both our wedding reception and rehearsal dinner. Chefstable clearly understands vegan food compared to any others in Portland.

We wanted to bring the best of Portland to our wedding. Most of our guests were from out of town. Luckily for us, ChefStable was one the preferred caterer list for our venue Castaway.
They went above and beyond. We ended up doing two tastings based and found exactly what we liked.
Kris even went with me to go pick out flatware at Party Place. I instantly added ChefStable to modify my itemized list, which was a life saver towards the end of planning.
In the end were a few "missing" aka broken glasses and other items that went missing, which I had anticipated.
Would highly recommend ChefStable

ChefStable Catering is unbelievable for so many reasons. We have had the opportunity to work with Kris on numerous events now and we are so thankful to have her. Her and her team are professional, kind, flexible and have so much pride in what they do. Their food is delicious, their willingness to create custom menus upon request is amazing and we are so happy to continue working with them.
