We had a two bedroom unit. It was very nice and very comfortable. We loved the convenience of going out of the back gate and within 2 minutes we were in Animal Kingdom. It doesn't get any better than that! Very nice resort, comfortable rooms, nice and clean DVD and large flat screen TVs. The resort is clos to all attractions.

We have been owners for several years. The units are always clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and accommodating. All units are a short walk to one of the four pools. There are tennis and
basketball courts, game rooms for kids, movies, ice cream sundaes, tie dye and craft events. Plus the cabana by the main pool has good food and drinks. Silver Lake is close to numerous attractions and restaurants. We have 3 kids (all almost out of their teens) who have never been disappointed in over ten years.

Surrounded by natural trees and bush...away from the heavy traffic. Has two in/out entrances and Disney Animal Kingdom basically in the field over. Very well kept grounds and maintenance crew.Walmart and all conveniences are 2 minutes away on the main US 192. Well guarded security gates and excellent lighted resort. The pool area is excellent. Been to the Marriott and I found the Silver Lake Pool area has done a better job. Rooms are very clean and modern and well kept with excellent cable and Big Tvs. Has everything your family needs for a timeshare vacation. Will be coming here again! We loved

The perks card was not explained at check-in so had to pay higher price. Bought it for the four "free" tickets to gator show. It would pay for itself. Gator show was cancelled.
Navy veteran very rude to mom and children at pool. Acted like it was his own private pool and drove people away.
They need to upgrade business room. Computers extremely slow. Not all printers worked.
Kitchen dated but functional.

Great location for the Disney parks and sort of hidden away off Black Lake road. Lots of restaurants and easy to get grocery stores. Well maintained. Great outdoor pools that are heated! Outdoor bar and grill which is good, but still not always open. Great parking availability. Good staff and security.

My family and I went to Silver Lake back in Sept and stayed a whole week. I would have to say our stay was very FUN, AND RELAXING. Favorite part was the pools (4 in total) my son loved the pools so much I had to literally drag him to get out. Another good thing my son learn how to swim while at Silver lake, he started in 3ft and towards the end of week was swimming in 5 ft. Would we go back? Absolutely! Rooms are massive, walk in shower, and nice jacuzzi tub in main bedroom. One more good thing, the resort is nearby a lot of different stores, and restaurants.

I stayed at silver lake for the proximity to animal kingdom/animal kingdom lodge (where friends were staying)
It was literally a short 5 minute drive to get to them. I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed my time there. My room was very clean and updated. There was a nice balcony. We did not have time to enjoy all the amenities but looked like a great place for family fun! I would definitely stay again!

We visited here earlier this month for the week and stayed in the two-bedroom condo villa that sleeps 6 people and it is a decent size at 1000 square feet. Overall, our stay was great, all of our rooms were thoroughly cleaned and the staff at the front were helpful and professional. The air in the rooms get very nice and cold, the bathrooms were nice and roomy. They have a contract with Universal Studios and can get discounted tickets, so we all visited there for a day.

I have stayed here many times in the past. It was my go to when we stayed in Florida. The rooms are average, nothing special. They are clean and centrally located. However, this last time we stayed was not a pleasant experience. We needed to leave two days early due to house fire. We spoke to the front desk and informed them our situation. We asked if we could be refunded the two nights. After weeks of calling and trying to get this worked out, they wouldn't. It definitely make me rethink staying there since refunds won't be issues for unforeseen emergencies.

If you decide to stay here, it would be wise to photograph every part of your hotel room when you check in and before you check out. We were charged a $200 damage fee for damage to headboard that we did not cause. The hotel did not even tell us about the charge - we found it a week later on our credit card bill.

Silver Lake Resort is the absolute biggest scam in Florida for such a small resort! I purchased a week back in 2001 and we were fine with our purchase. Later in 2007, we were rather excited to purchase more when they gave us an owner's update presentation. What we didn't know is that once we converted to points, we would NEVER be able to use our week there again as the points that we converted to was never going to be enough for us to stay a week again at Silver Lake Resort. What pissed me off even more was that I received a call from Silver Lake Resort on 11/23/2020 on another sales

-The supposedly 0600 check in time? A lie! Came to check in at 1300 but wasn't checked in till roughly 1530. No apology given.
-Remotes weren't operating aside from the power button. Waited 2 hours for support to come but decided to proceed with our own plans. Support never came and a follow up was not provided.
-Huge cockroach was found in our room @1130 the first night. We were given the option of sleeping in the same room for the night till maintenance arrived the next day or leave our belongings in the room and sleep elsewhere for the night. Where there's one, there's

Love this place! Been going here since my kids were under 10, and now they are 28 and 31 and we all still want to come here. There's always something to do even if we don't go to any of the Disney parks. It's location to the parks are great and to restaurants and shops too! And My husband I will probably still continue to come here even if my kids or grandkids don't come with.

The resort is a timeshare operation that rents suites when available. Although this is an older place, the staff maintains everything pretty well. We have stayed here often, as we have traded our timeshare week for Silvercreek over the years.
Although not what I would call spacious, the accommodations are reasonably sized. Everything feels clean, despite the age of the property. The kitchen is well stocked for most food preparation needs.
In regard to the suites, the only complaint I have is that since the floors are tiled and if there is a suite above your suite, you will hear the scraping

One of the nicer resorts we've stayed in around the Disney area. Close to the parks, shopping and numerous restaurants, it would be hard to beat the location.
We were lucky enough to get a 2 bedroom on the first floor. The condos were spacious and provided us plenty of room to spread out. My daughter is deaf and can be quite loud at times, but I really couldn't hear her from room to room and we never heard our neighbors. Except for a few rowdy unobserved kids at one of the three pools we rarely saw or heard from anyone.

We have traded into this timeshare approximately 4 times. You can't beat the location to Disney Parks, especially Animal Kingdom. The location is also good to numerous restaurants and only 20 minutes from Universal Studios.

One of the reasons we want to come down was to do some research for bringing our 3 grandkids down next year to Disney.
Our timeshare is next to the Disney's Animal Kingdom and when I say next door I mean next door....less than a mile. We are able to park there and ride the shuttle bus to each of the Parks. Just plan your times if your looking to see a show in a different park.
