Excellent service experience. I arrived at my scheduled appt time they let me know it would take approximately 90 minutes to complete the service. They completed the service in less than one hour. My bill was $0 all work was under warranty. I sat in the very comfortable lounge area, it didn't seem like I was there for the time that I was. It seemed much faster than the already short wait that I had!

My wife & I had a great experience purchasing a new Mini Cooper SE at Mini of Portland. We ordered a custom build and our "Motoring Advisor," Ana, was able to link us to a pre-allocated order which shaved at least a month off of our wait to receive the car (it took three months to arrive instead of four, or longer). Ana delivered great communication the entire way through and their Finance Manager, Bryn, was a pleasure to work with as well (not something I've found to be the case with Finance folks at most car dealerships). This dealership used to be terrific back in the Jared days. But it's now so bad that I will never ever buy another Mini--and I've owned two of them going back to 2009. The Mini business staff are completely unresponsive to questions or returning phone calls. The service staff are no better. For an oil change, the service department did not replace the engine cap, something I learned only when I took my Mini in for service at a local authorized BMW/Mini repair center. Replacing it costs over $200. The service people are nasty, the service manager is all talk and no action. A warning

Mini of Portland always goes out of their way to make sure I have a good experience. I was not feeling well and they let my friend bring in my car and handled everything with me over the phone let me pay online it was super convenient. No pressure, no slimy tactics, genuinely nice and pleasant people start to finish. Cars sell themselves these days, but Sam still took time to tell me why the SE was great. We went over all the quirky features and details. I had read about it in such great detail, but Sam covered the little things you miss. This was one of the best automobile purchase experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone directly and indirectly involved were courteous and respectful during every step of the deal. We recently came to MINI to purchase a 2011 BMW X5 for my younger brother. This vehicle had just been acquired by the selling dealership so there were no pictures or information posted online. We worked with Ms. Bradley O'Neil in sales to acquire pictures and information and she was very responsive via text and phone calls. She was able to get us in on the same day to check out the vehicle for a test drive and inspection as well as finishing out the paperwork. Easy to book an appointment online, friendly service advisors, very nice waiting area with free drinks and WiFi, and work was completed within the timeframe quoted. The technician takes a video when they inspect your vehicle and makes note of condition and any recommendations for repair. They also wash the exterior of your car. I already knew what I wanted and had been looking for it. I went to the website to see if they had it and there it was! In a color I liked, bonus. There was a price on the website I felt was fair, and the financing they offered was very good, so I dropped my contact info. Had a phone call from Sam, made an appointment. So easy, right?
I actually went a day early and Sam was there. The car I wanted was at a nearby location, so he let me drive another mini over there. So much fun! Minis are great to drive. We took my car out for a long test

Oh boy where to begin. Initially I had good experiences with MINI of Portland. That all changed. I've had several instances in which MINI of Portland failed to deliver. It seems the quality of the service department has plummeted. I will begin with the sales department: Last December I bought a 2016 MINI Cooper Clubman--used and what appeared to be good shape--I purchased a warranty product with the terms changed by MINI of Portland which led me to cancel the purchased warranty and, after many emails and phone calls, the money I paid for the warranty was refunded. This is the second time I've brought my car here for service. Both times I've had to wait what I think to be as too long as they always have like 4 people back there. I actually don't mind waiting and that is not the reason for only 2 stars, I get that things are kind of crazy now. The reason for only two stars is because they are not honoring a coupon from their own website. That's a little scammy in my opinion. Don't offer the discount and then say, well it does say "starting at." It is true that the coupon says that but it feels gross and misleading. I have

We live in Idaho and found a great used MINI Cooper 2Dr Hardtop on the website at Mini of Portland. We called and spoke with Patrick, in sales. He answered all my questions at the time. He accurately described the vehicles condition to us and promised the car is what he said it was, which was near showroom quality. He quickly took pictures for us of the car and even showed us a pic with a sold sign on it with our last name to show us it was reserved for us We decided to put down a deposit. We let him know that we couldn't be to Beaverton to pick it up until the next Friday. Not a problem

If this review was exclusively for our salesman, Bryn Weigel, it would be five out of five as he was fantastic! Bryn went above and beyond to find our perfect Mini (our third!)...he was knowledgeable and personable.
