Dixie Paint & Body Shop, a family-owned business, has been your local staple in the Tampa Bay Community for almost 100 years. Guiseppe Traina, an Italian immigrant from Sicily, opened our shop in 1926 with his sons. Back in 1926, there were only 5 or 6 shops in Tampa and all vehicles were painted with brushes.
Having to repair your car, truck or van after being in an accident can be a frustrating process, but here at Dixie Auto Paint & Body Shop, we strive to make the collision repair part of the process quick and painless. Have an estimate from another body shop? Bring it to us and we can beat it! Some insurance companies will refer you to certain collision repair shops.
At Dixie Auto Paint & Body Shop, we are auto painting experts! We've been painting cars, trucks and vans since 1926 and we get it done right the first time. However, Mr. Angelo worked with me since the beginning. He told me not to worry about everything and that is was going to be okay. I didn't have the money right away but he started fixing my car anyway while I tried to come up with the money. Dixie paint & Body Shop are top notch! I had to have my car repaired and cover the expenses out of my own pocket and the folks at Dixie were absolutely the best!

They was called to just move my vehicle. Instead the broke my driverside door now it doesn't close, The tore up the side panels off the slide door, They bent up my slide door, they stole tools out of the back of the vehicle, and they used my vehicle for a trash can throwing broken car parts in my vehicle. These parts do not belong to my vehicle. My vehicle was in 1 piece when they took it and it was completely destroyed when I got it back from them. They showed the most disrespect towards my vehicle. they by far did not take care of my vehicle at all. I recommend nobody to use their services.

Phenomenal job!! Took my bumper in on a Monday and picked it up on Wednesday. Super quick turn around time and amazing quality job. Nelson is an amazing painter and matched the color perfectly. He took the extra time to sand out imperfections that come with buying an aftermarket bumper which was not asked of him. He went the extra mile and did a fantastic job on my bumper. I’m very pleased with his work and the body shop as a whole. I will be a returning customer in the future. Thanks Dixie!!

Dixie paint & Body Shop are top notch!! I had to have my car repaired and cover the expenses out of my own pocket and the folks at Dixie were absolutely the best! The whole experience was pleasant right from the start. This is a family owned business that has been around since the 1920's. The owner Angelo was super kind and very knowledgeable about car repair and what my car needed. They stuck to the initial estimate given to me even though they went over. Such a professional family run business and great full they were here to be able to help me get my car back to normal. I will recommend
