We rented from this company years ago but we were warn not to and we didn't listen. The house was a dump and it had mold that cause me cancer we moved out because i was pregnant and when i was in the house i couldn't breath. The heat didn't work we had to use the fire place and the oven to keep it warm. They would not fix it untill we contact the city of Longmont and they contact the realty and warn them to fix it they would file a complaint.. After we moved out they took us to court for $8 thousand dollars for not giving a 30 day notice (which we did). They wanted to also charge us for new carpet

This is the most frustrated I have ever been. It was a little complicated since we knew the owner and were working with both them and Alert and it was easy for miscommunications to arise. HOWEVER, their customer service (and just basic communication) was the worst I've ever seen. Me and Roommate #1 had already been approved for the house before we decided to include Roommate #2, which the owner said should be just fine. But R#1 had to move out of his place on the 1st and Alert hadn't let him sign the lease yet. When I explained his move-out deadline was coming up within the week, the front desk

Alert Realty was the absolute WORST place I’ve ever rented from. They didn’t fix major problems that were present from move in. There was water damage and mold growing because they failed to fix the issue before it became worse. The owner, Brian, was very rude and condescending. I strongly suggest staying away from this rental company.
They also entered my home twice without notice and while I wasn’t home. One of the times their maintenance man came by without warning, and my two children were home alone. He LET HIMSELF IN!! Used a key and just opened the door. I was appalled. Thankfully

Stellar response
I've been in the apartment for about 10 months with no issues. Tonight the toilet was not filling with water I reported it toward then end of the work day. The young lady that took the call was very courteous and professional and the maintenance guy, Roy, was SUPER fast responding (within 15 minutes). He identified the problem with the toilet in about .15 seconds (faulty flush valve assembly) and had the parts replaced in less than ~5 minutes. Obviously nobody likes a toilet you have to manually flush but I figured that was what I would have to do for at least a day. Nope - from

Alert Realty has been managing my property for many years. They always send me the monthly statement on time and the statements are always accurate. They respond to problems quickly. For example, back in Mach, when the roof was torn by the windstorm, they immediately patched roof to preventing the further damage, then, they contacted several local roof repair company and email me the quotes for the comparison. They leave me the time to compare and pick the one I would like to go with. It's very professional and considered.
I trust Bryan and Cindy and have confidence on them as they have been taking

The gasket on the bathtub faucet wore out and the thing ran water constantly for about 3 weeks before they sent a maintenance person. The air conditioner was built in the 40s and cooled approximately 1 cubic foot of air during summer. The doorknob once fell apart and locked me in the unit, i had to call a friend over to open the door from the outside. Also they make you take an extremely condescending pop quiz on the terms of the lease when you sign up. Easily the worst property management company in longmont, extremely shady. Not good.

They're not unpleasant people, but the manager (Bryan) is not entirely honest. As an example, the property into which I and my girlfriend moved over a year ago was, to be frank, filthy. There was a thick layer of dust and grime everywhere, the carpet looked like it had seen centuries of use, and there were two enormous, black marks on the carpet in one of the bedrooms. This was bad enough, but I had just moved out of another Alert property, and they reamed me with cleaning charges.
Now, obviously, they aren't so bad if I was willing to rent with them again, but tell me if this makes sense: they

Alert realty is horrible! I have moved in to a duplex a year ago and as soon as i moved in a requested new gutters because during the winter my sidewalk was nothing but ice! also requested a couple other things as well till now its been a year and they have not fixed them. Employees that work there are rude and not friendly at all. Always losing paperwork no customer service at all. When i first moved in my bathroom toilet would not flush and i called for them to fix it and they charged me $100.00 to fix it when it was already messed up prior to when i moved in. I would not recommend anyone to

We rented our 2 br duplex in dec 2011 and we noticed right away that the carpet had not been cleaned only vacuumed by previous tenant. We turned in our checklist which included mold on back of the bath wall in our closet and dirty carpet in first five days and was told previous tenant had already received refund of his deposit and they were not going to clean the carpet but fixed the wall in 2 weeks. My main concern now is getting my 750 deposit back the lease says they can hold it for 30 to 60 days .we are now on day 21 and were told that the accountant may be able to cut a chk yesterday but didn

Very poor customer service from the office while I was a renter with these people. We also had an illegal entry committed by an agent of the property managers. Came home to find a notice that the house was entered to fix a light bulb out. There was never any request made and was even told by their employees that no request had been made. Essentially got the "oh well" from them. Now come to find out 3 years later that there is a mark on my credit report of a debt that I have never been notified of. The date of the debt is after I had arranged to be taken off the lease! RUN AS FAR AS YOU POSSIBLY
