The best inspector I have ever worked with. We have purchased a few homes over the years and he makes the other inspectors look like newbies to the field. Ryan was awesome and very thorough in his inspection. He is very personable and it was a joy tagging along during the inspection. As a mechanical engineer, I can attest to his knowledge of the structures and systems of how a home should work.
The inspection generally takes 2-4 hours depending on the square footage of the home and year it was built. I would prefer the buyer and their agent are present and stay for the entirety of the inspection. I would ask that all who are present at the inspection follow the inspector from room to room.
Agents and Sellers, the more you prep your home for the inspection the sooner we can get out of your way!. Make sure all the appliances that will need to be inspected are empty, such as the dishwasher and yes even the OVEN!. If the electric sub-panel has been painted the inspector should not be the one to cut it off the wall to inspect the wiring and the breakers.

Drone Inspections are recommended when the inspector is not able to physically get on the roof to inspect, due to height, steepness or any hazard that will place the inspectors life in harms way.

Ryan inspected two properties for me. Paragon Inspections was a great company to work with. They were fast in getting everything scheduled and sending the full report back to me. Ryan proved to be extremely knowledgeable and a skilled inspector. He was also, unexpectedly, worried about my investment in this home as I am a new home buyer and probably seemed green in that way. He went out of his way to provide detailed explanations of things I would have overlooked and answer all my questions. He was even okay admitting when an answer was outside his purview, but would still give me an educated guess followed with recommendations for who I could contact to get that answer.

Ryan was super detailed and walked us through every square inch. There were many things that we wouldn’t have even noticed or known had he not pointed them out.
