Services
During the meth manufacturing process, chemical compounds become airborne and settle out, depositing onto walls, ceilings, appliances, floors, carpets and other typical household items throughout the structure's interior. The manufacture of this drug has caused billions of dollars in property damage and most importantly, has become a major health hazard.
Every home has at least some levels of radon gas and 1 in 3 homes in Utah have levels considered unhealthy by the EPA and need radon mitigation. Radon enters a home through foundation cracks and cold joints, openings around plumbing pipes, and crawlspaces. Our inspectors will test for radon using a radon detection machine that will test the air periodically over the course of 48 hours.

As a single female, buying a new home I trust that my inspection company would thoroughly inspect things. During the inspection items were pointed out in the report such as tar missing on a shingle on the roof, negative slope of driveway towards the garage, no drain in the laundry room floor, misaligned sensors that would prevent the garage door from closing. After completing purchase of the house and moving in, day 1, my dishwasher flooded my kitchen (which was “inspected”) my garage is missing a seal plate, creating water and wood damage in the garage. Rob was very thorough with the inspection and was able to fit us in his schedule quickly. He did a great job going over specifics during the walkthrough and answered all of our questions. He also tested the water supply the next day for no additional charge as the city had cut off the water in the neighborhood during that time. I highly recommend Castleview home inspections.

Rob and his assistant Chris, did a great job! They were able to fit us in their schedule quickly and were very thorough. We feel like we know a lot more about our condo before we even move in. Rob & Thad were very nice, personable, knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and they walked us through our new home with our realtor and answered all of our questions as first time home buyers. I felt a lot more at ease afterwards and they sent us a beautifully organized report with photos and their findings typed out in detail that helps guide us and makes being a new homeowner less overwhelming.
