Todd would not refund my $500 deposit for my cancelled wedding due to covid, even though we cancelled more than 6 months out. He said we could use it towards another event. We decided to use it for my husbands… 40th birthday party. I reached out to him more than two months in advance and we came up with the menu. I didn’t hear anything from him and we had not solidified the delivery time, so I emailed him on October 10 to confirm. He did not respond, so I emailed him again on October 29 to follow up. The event is on November 6. October 29 was the first communication we had since finalizing

They were hired to cater my son's wedding and to provide the beer & wine. The catering service was terrible; horrible presentation of the dinner, nothing looked appealing, the food was over cooked & dried out, salad was drenched in dressing making it super soggy. Nothing was appealing and was set up to look like a school lunch line. They didn't… even care to use table cloths that would match or compliment the wedding colors. The bar area was pathetic, again using a folding table that was covered with any old table cloth. They failed to provide the brands of wine that we had requested

Butler's catered our wedding and they nailed it. The macaroni and cheese bar during our cocktail hour was a unique and really fun addition to our reception. We served a complicated family style dinner menu and they had very little space to work in (due to the limited space in our reception venue) and every dish came out fabulous and timed… perfectly. I was very worried that our vegetarian guests wouldn't have a unique, hearty dinner option, but Butler's easily fixed my worry with a creative vegetarian option that my guests loved. I cannot believe I got a chance to sit and eat at my own wedding

If you order food for events, avoid Butler's Unique Catering! We were SO disappointed!
I ordered the sandwich tray for 11, and indicated we had 3 vegetarians in the group. The meat and cheese tray came with cheese that looked like it had melted, was very thin and sticking together. I expected extra cheese to accommodate the vegetarians, but no;… they serve 1 slice of cheese per person, "+ a couple more." (Owner's words) There was a small container of chicken salad. No tuna or veggie options for building a sandwich. NO accommodations for the vegetarians.
The fruit salad turned out to be a

Unique for sure, uniquely store bought, uniquely lacking options, uniquely overpriced mass produced and replated food. Butlers serves eggs in box and and an underwhelming breakfast bar... unique right? No toast, no bagel, nada.
Unique is something you've never seen before. What I've never seen is referring to beans and coleslaw as the "vegetarian… option". I suppose it's a unique service to charge for a dish and send it to another reception.
Well, they did have wine... I think, it might have been vinegar for the salad in the vegetarian option that was served elsewhere and needed to be served

Most disappointing caterer I have ever encountered, and unfortunately it was for a wedding. Omelet looked like a mangled Halloween mess, purple hash browns, completely forgotten dishes, overcharging for "an additional guest," food not labeled, tasteless chocolate cake with store-bought whipped cream and raspberry topping from a squeezable Smucker's container. I am not sure anything was freshly made. I could go on, but hopefully this is enough to warn people to keep shopping for a caterer.
