Through Taekwondo training, we strive to develop the full potential in our students, enabling them to embrace the challenges of life more successfully, while setting the highest standard of excellence. World Champion Taekwondo will provide unparalleled Taekwondo martial arts training throughout Connecticut and all 50 States of the United States of America with top world champion Korean Masters Instructors with a minimum of 4th Degree Black Belt.
All the Master Instructors will be chosen and trained by Grand Master Park before establishing their own schools. This will be done while maintaining the main Taekwondo training focus: respect, discipline, confidence and self-confidence.

Services
Our schools and teaching methods are guided by a common set of values which are very similar to the Boy-Girl Scouts of America. We believe that training in Taekwondo is an opportunity to teach important values which will not only help our students achieve higher ranks in Taekwondo, but also will stay with them and help them their entire life.
Who can take Promotion Test? Before each official promotion test the student is tested in class for each ability and if they pass, they will receive the corresponding tape and color on the tip of their belt or uniform if there is no belt. Help setting a short term goal every two month and achievement is very important to become success.
Members of the Korean army were among the first students of Tae Kwon Do, joined soon thereafter by the Korean air force and police. In 1961 the Korean Taekwondo Union was formed by the Soo Bakh Do Association and the Tae Soo Do Association. The name was changed the following year to the Korean Taekwondo Association.
Taekwondo has been incredibly empowering for my daughter, who started at age 9 and is now a 3rd degree black belt heading off to engineering school at a top university. One thing I love is that the girls compete on an even playing field with the boys. I think that strengthens a young woman's confidence and is crucial for her future career mindset to hold her own in a male-dominated workplace.

Enrolling my children at WCT Fairfield, has been one of the best decisions ever. The masters are incredible teachers; they use a perfect balance between discipline and play, pushing you over your comfort zone, and making you feel strong and secure. Miss Jennifer is always helping parents with any question, and all of them take care of the students not just for the taekwondo itself, but for their general upbringing and personal growth.
They are so great, that I ended up enrolling myself! Their classes for adults are also perfect.
Worth every penny, highly highly recommend them!

Master KJ and Master Gunsoo are super dedicated and passionate in teaching Taekwondo to their students. They encourage respect, loyalty, precision, persistence, inclusiveness and teamwork through their rigorous but fun training sessions. They have coached and built a great pool of talented students, junior instructors and young masters that have won numerous medals in various national and international events. World Champion Taekwondo is a great school that offers ample learning and competition experience to students who are interested in getting better in Taekwondo.

It is the BEST Taekwando school around. Master KJ and Master Gunsoo bring out the best from their students. Masters are highly professional and high achievers. Great environment for adults and kids to learn Taekwando and excel in State, National and International competitions. My son is attending this school and we are super happy about the training, support and help with his overall growth in terms of perseverance, honesty,discipline, confidence.

Our daughter Kendall has been studying taekwondo at World Champion TaekwonDo Fairfield for the past 10 years. She is currently preparing to test for her third degree black belt! We couldn’t be more pleased with the experience, skills, discipline and values that she has been taught by Master KJ and his staff. We are so grateful for the structure and support that Kendall receives there. We were also fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel with the school to Korea in 2019. Our son has been taking Taekwondo with Masters KJ and Gunsoo for almost 1.5 years and we couldn’t be happier! Not only are they great teachers of the art, but their methods for engaging the kids are spot on. They also do an amazing job at grooming the kids into respectful, kind, responsible, encouraging and disciplined students - both in the ways of Taekwondo as well as outside of the studio as representatives of the sport in their daily lives - they are a class act and would recommend to anyone interested in Taekwondo!

My daughter started WCT in 2nd grade when they ran an after school program at her school and she loved it! She started taking classes in the studio soon after and has been there for almost three years-she will soon test for her black belt. The masters are wonderful; a great mix of teaching respect, training, and fun! They offer a variety of classes for each level and always run fun camps throughout the year during school vacation days. It has been such a positive experience-especially during Covid when WCT has been so flexible and accommodating. I highly recommend starting TKD here!

WCT Fairfield is a phenomenal Taekwondo studio. Our daughter has been training with Master KJ and Master Gunsoo for 9 years now. She is able to compete on a national level and benefited not only physically but also mentally and emotionally.
