While the overall goal of therapy is the very vague 'to be happier, ' you may not have any idea what that means for you yet. That's okay. Your therapist can help you break down your overall goal into smaller, achievable goals. When you start therapy, your therapist can help you clarify what's not working in your life.
Anger is an emotion that we all experience. It can be spurred by disappointment, shame, confusion, sadness, and other negative emotions. The way that we express our anger can take many forms, and it is important for your mental state to effectively manage and release anger. Some people have a problem expressing their anger which can lead to problems.
Our self esteem has a large impact on how we live our life, our emotional stability, and our overall level of happiness. Self esteem is how we feel about ourselves, our own personal morale, but it is also affected by how others interact with us, and how we perceive other peoples' feelings about us.

I have had great experience with the professionals here. My personal counselor is a xaring and supportive soul who has given strong guidance and reminders of my values when needed. Used to go here also for a couples counselor whose respectful and warm relationship with us was a treasure. I've engaged a bit wiyh the others here casually in the lobby and have a good impression of each.
A solid resource for your support needs, and between the folks here you have a variety of approaches and emphases that can between them find just the right fit for you.

I have been seeing the professionals at FFS for over 20 years. Although it has not been continuous, I have always been welcomed back. My mental health has been in great hands and am here today because of them. Thank you.
