I've been here several years now. Since the solomon organization took over the front office has been nothing but excuses, and the maintenance team has been a joke. I called several months back about my drier not working and it being a potential hazard and they keep making excuses at the office about how they are short staffed which I get- but instead of fixing things they just make excuses. The few times I have gotten maintenance to show up they have either showed up at hours that simply wont work and they refuse to call ahead. AC/heat systems are so out of date. That most people are paying $300+ a month in electric bills. I had neighbor here that said his got as high as $500 a month because they couldn’t fix the AC so they gave him a portable AC unit that just ran his bill up. Instead of upgrading their AC/heat they say it’s not their problem and the people that live here a forced to pay 1/4 a quarter of the price their rent each month just to keep light in the apartment.. not only the AC being out of date… the “new” apartments that they redid are not even done before people are moving in carpet isn’t secured

So many things were damaged on move in, it was terrible. We have had to put in a work order almost once a month to fix broken things. We put in a work order for our dryer being basically unusable and it took two full months of following up for them to just replace the dryer with one they had not being used.

Unseen charges, amenities offered and your paying for are closed for now two spring/summers with no prorate, only excuses while every apartment complex in Kalamazoo is and has been using the amenities they pay for and where promised in their lease. All pools in every complex near summer ridge have and are reopened for another season. NOT HERE! And the staff is disrespectful and doesn’t care about all the money residents have had to pay for unseen costs and amenities advertised and offered, but not available. The apartments also need to be updated and cared for.

My lease was up on March 8, 2020. I received military PCS orders two weeks before that date. As soon as I received my orders, I let this joke of an establishment know. They told me that since I hadn’t given 30 days notice, I’d have to pay the full month of March. I was out of the apartment on March 6th. I am now paying 1200$ to collections. Trust me, you don’t want to live here.

DO NOT RENT from this people. Their rental agreement is very sneaky you need to have an attorney next to you before you signed an agreement with them so you don't be a victim of their ability to keep your security deposit, charge extra months, late charges fee and be treated to be send to collection without a valid reason Go where you are treated fairly.

The apartment complex and grounds are very very well kept and clean. The best part about the complex is how fast work orders can be taken care of and it’s great scenic and convenient location. I’ve put in multiple work orders and they are taken care of within 12-24 hours. The surrounding landscape is beautiful as well as fairly quiet for being so close to the high way and you’re so close to everything you’ll ever need.

This has been the absolute worst place i have ever lived the staff is impossible to get ahold of and when you do reach someone they cannot give you the information you are asking for because they don't work at this property. They will not contact the residents when they are going to be cutting down trees you just get to come home to the mess, and when asked why an email was not sent out i was told for things like that(cutting trees down)they don't feel the need to let the residents know. The staff has changed at least 3 times in the year and a half I have lived here which has resulted in lost paperwork
