Brooklyn Center Suites
After my disenchantment with the prices of hotels downtown, I found Brooklyn Center Suites. It was much more affordable, with restaurants within walking distance and convenient access to mass transit. I stayed three nights and appreciated the proximity to downtown as well as Division Street restaurants.

It was clean, comfortable and safe. Jane surpassed by expectations by picking me up and dropping me off at the Amtrak station. During a vacation to Vancouver, Canada in 1997, we discovered a new concept in lodging - the extended stay hotel. We wanted to provide the same comfortable, clean and affordable lodging so we started the Brooklyn Center Suites in the historic Brooklyn neighborhood.
Services
We specialize in extended stays of two or more nights. Please call or email us for current availability. Note: Our reservation office closes at 8 PM PST and reopens again at 8 AM PST. We look forward to hearing from you! Check-in time: 3:00 p.m. Check-out time: 11:00 a.m. Reservations require a current VISA or MasterCard, with preferred payment upon arrival by check or cash.
Each suite comes with a fully equipped kitchen for convenient in-room dining. Restaurants are great when you are on the go but nothing beats the heartiness of a homemade meal. Enjoy your morning coffee or kick your feet up after a long day of site-seeing. Each room is furnished with a queen bed, direct-dial telephone, a color television and a bath/shower.
Our client, relocating from Chicago, enjoyed his month at your pleasant accommodations. Your Suites were well-equipped, clean, comfortable and in a good close-in location. I will gladly recommend your extended stay Suites to any other clients moving to the Portland area. The Brooklyn Center Suites has been providing lodging for our visiting artists, instructors and class participants since they're opening in 1997.
You won't want to miss Portland's cider-centric pub, Bushwhackers. As America's only urban Cider Pub, they are right around the corner in our unique Brooklyn neighborhood. Featuring inventive House Ciders, seven ciders on draft, 130+ ciders in bottle, darts and self-described pointless conversation, Bushwhackers has been featured in Portland Monthly, Mix Magazine, and was named one of Food & Wine's best new cider bars.

Would highly recommend this place for anyone that wants to feel like they have a “home” to go to instead of a hotel room. My husband and I enjoy having our own kitchen space so when I found this place so close to where my daughter was staying in Portland I knew that this was where we needed to be. We were not disappointed! While they don’t book through any of the internet travel sites (which made my husband skeptical) Jane is awesome at returning phone calls and emails and she graciously worked with us even though our dates had to change. There was a personal letter for us upon arrival, one

I stayed at Brooklyn Center Suites twice. It was conveniently located for my needs with off street parking. The apartment is clean, and cozy, and well cared for. It felt like a home away from home. The hosts are friendly and responded in a timely manner when I had questions.

We loved having a kitchen during our 2+ weeks here assisting our daughter & grandson with their move. Great SE location with coffee, groceries & necessities a short walk nearby, MAX Yellow Line 10 min walk, & great restaurant options within a mile or so in all directions. Easy parking & car access across the river. Helpful hosts.

Very quiet and clean. We loved the central location. It’s a hidden gem for those who want a very clean, practical place to use as home base while in PDX. Jane is a gracious and personable host and her personal touch is evident.

The location was very accommodating for our needs. It is quiet and a good place to take strolls on tree-lined streets. Cozy and the best shower. The air unit worked quite well. We just wished it were quieter. The owners get five stars for their communication and service. Thank you. Wayne and Jan

I’ve stayed at many hotels in the Portland area, and this one is the best! It’s clean and quiet, it has everything you need to stay there without having to go out to eat all the time. Full sized fridge, oven, stove, utensils, etc. Thoughtfully put together. The hosts are gracious and personable.

We recently had the pleasure of staying two nights at the Brooklyn Center Suites and it was absolutely wonderful. It is in a perfect location to get to downtown Portland and sight see, plus the neighborhood itself offers multiple shops and restaurants within walking distance. The room was cozy and super comfortable.
