I would rate this business as a zero star business if I could. I became a new tenant of this rental agency in November 2020. I’ve had issues with the air window units upon my move in here. I made Cincy Rents, Misty Sanders, aware of the issue upon my move in and this past June 2021.
Trying to get the issue resolved with the property manager has been a hassle which it SHOULD NOT be. After sending a certified letter in July 2021 to the office in regards to the issue, the problem has finally been resolved.

These folks are terrific. When I moved from my house in Anderson to an apartment downtown, I decided I wanted to keep the house and rent it out. But I didn't want to hassle with managing it, so I called Cincy Rents. They did a great job taking care of some deferred maintenance that needed to be done before renting the house, found a tenant at a higher rent than I expected, and have kept me informed while handling everything since then. Lora and Misty have been super-responsive answering my questions. Cincy Rents has really earned my trust!

I am new to real estate. That being said, my Father was in property investing for years and suggested I do the same. I had contacted several other property management companies and chose Cincy Rents. I met with Misty and she led me through the entire process. She covered everything from start to finish. Thank you Cincy Rents!

I own 3 multi-family apartment buildings in the Hyde Park area. I travel quite often, and can't always tend to my properties as much as needed. I started working with Cincy Rents and I am so happy with the work they are doing for me. The greatest thing we can be rewarded with is more time. With Cincy Rents in my corner i have just that..more time. They have handled everyting from finding the renters to any maintenance issues that have arose. Misty and Craig are a class act from start to finish. Looking forward to increasing my real estate investments!

I was super happy with my experience with Cincy Rents as a home owner and potential renter. From the time I contacted Cincy Rents to understand their management process, until we found renters and closed on our house I had a high level of touch and communication from my Cincy Rents contacts. I was extremely pleased with the explanation of the process, as well as getting a clear understanding of things that I needed to do to prepare my house for the market. I was surprised that within the list, the agents shared with me "must haves" vs. "nice to haves" vs. "you will need to think about this in the

We've been renting for almost a year. We've had a couple of issues with the rental (typical house maintenance issues, drippy faucet etc). Cincy Rents were extremely responsive after my call (1-2 days, none were true emergencies) and resolved every problem promptly and professionally. Communication has been excellent, emails responded typically within same day. We are very pleased and highly recommend this company. Thank you!

Will not be renting through Cincy Rents. We had a tour on Saturday of the place and sent in our applications on that same day, but come Tuesday the place was already given to another person. On Monday they requested all of our information including social security card and said that there were no other applications for this apartment that day. I find out on Tuesday afternoon that the place is off the market and we did not get the place that we applied for. So we were lied to by Misty of Cincy Rents and any of my other friends are making sure that they never work with Cincy Rents because the reviews

Wish I had seen all of these reviews before. I agree with the majority of people who say their customer service is lackluster. Not only was I yelled at on the phone, I was also lied to. My wife called for a work order on Monday morning, they didn't file it until the following day or so they said. If you are looking for very vague responses (asap) on when they think someone will come out to help you this is the place. If They don't have enough people on staff to fix these problems then they should look into hiring another maintenance person.

Do not rent any property from this company. I had seen an apartment for rent sign and I went to get a walk-through of the place. They showed up late and finally about 20 minutes later I was walked through for an inspection of the building. The apartment was on the bottom floor in the facility looked a little bit dilapidated in the appliances were all old..
I was told that the application fee would be an Enormous $40 which seemed a bit Absurd to me as most companies will waive the application fee or at least just be at about 25. I paid the money upfront and didn't hear back from them for about

Cincy Rents came highly recommended from a couple of friends, and in my first month in one of their properties I have not been disappointed. I had a few initial maintenance requests that were handled promptly, and the service tech they sent over could not have been more personable.
Happy with my choice to rent from them, and look forward to sticking around!

They deserve a “0 Star”. Our experience with Cincy Rents was very frustrating. It is really hard to deal with this company. The property manager, Misty Sanders was rude, disrespectful and impolite and the business manager, Lora was not responsible to emails and phone calls!
I strongly believe some people in this company must change their attitude! They need to hire well educated, trained and professional people who have better communication skills and can take care of their customers. I am very glad that I have canceled my contract!

DO NOT rent from this company. My husband and I rented an apartment from them for a year before buying our house and they were awful. Our washer broke and it took a WEEK for maintenance to fix it, so it was just sitting with standing water for a week. We were told when we moved in they would be replacing the original windows in "a couple months", which didn't happen until we moved out a year later. We took great care of the apartment, yet they still took $75 off of our deposit when we moved out- $25 for sweeping the entry floor and $50 for cleaning the oven, which was dirty when

DO NOT RENT FROM CINCY RENTS!!! PLEASE DO NOT!!!! THEY ARE THE WORST!!!! I am not joking, I am a smart, hard-working, intelligent person and they will take advantage of you and just take your money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I rented with them for several years and want out of the lease ASAP. It makes me sad that this company runs about 3,000 properties in Cincinnati, Ohio. They take advantage of people's kindness and forgiveness. Expect nothing out of Ted, Lora, Misty, and others. Work does not get done, seriously. They do contract work and it never get's done. They treat you horribly ..

I have been a landlord with Cinci Rents for 3 years. It has been one of the best experiences! I live 1800 miles away and the the staff is very prompt in communication, the accounting is spot on, and they were quick to address any of my tenants needs. I will not buy another rental property in the Ohio market unless I can use them as my property manager.

I am a home owner and have rented out a single family home in Oakley for over 10 yrs thru Cincy Rents. They do a great job of advertising and showing our house, and finding and vetting tenants. They do all the leg work and paperwork. Once tenants are moved in, we do the maintenance and interaction with the tenants ourselves. We've been very happy with the process, and so have our tenants.

I was a renter of a Cincy Rents property for 2.5 years. Thoughout the duration of this period I had a major issue with the quality of the facilities. I had to log complaints about cockroaches at least once every six months and that issue was not resolved in my time as a resident. The fixtures and quality of appliances were well overdue for an upgrade and extremely difficult to both upkeep and utilize. I was very patient with the facilities and how they chose to deal with these issues, and on many occasions was told how pleasantly surprised they were with my upkeep of the unit I was renting. This

I truly wish there were an option lower than one star. Where to start...
1. My apartment was broken in to, or should I say opened with a key while I was not at home. All of my jewelry (most of which was cheap, but important to me for sentimental reasons) was stolen. When I called them about this, they assured me that none of their employees would do such a thing, and no one also would have a key unless I gave it too them (implying that I was at fault for the theft). Careful when renting from these unprofessionals. The agent that showed us a place, never got off the phone the whole time, avoided answering questions and was very disrespectful to the current tenants, not even thanking them for allowing us to see it or to ask if it was a bad time to stop by. They have one maintenance man, so it takes at least a week to get anything fixed. Then when you prepare to leave, they will nickle and dime you, requiring you to pay $10 if the stove top does not meet their satisfaction. And additional money for each side that is dirty, same going for the base boards in each

My first initial thoughts were happy thoughts as i signed the 6mos lease for kenilworth . The place was spacious hardwood floors inexpensive the only con was a water bill and no drop box . We noticed strange occurrences at our place the windows would open by themselves... if we record videos unexplained anomalies would appear even in pictures as in faces a man in top hat even a toddler. i even emailed misty about my concerns on whether my unit or the building is haunted. She wrote me to not ask the neighbors about it . my 30th bday was on march the 16th i wrote a letter and taped it to all my neighbors

Rude people. I broke my lease because they refused to fix my air conditioner, which was obviously broken. They told me it was not broken, and acted like I was dumb. It was the end of the world for them when I broke my lease. They are just money hungry and will get every last dime of yours. I forfeited my security deposit, paid for two weeks rent while the place was vacated, had to pay a cleaning fee, and paid for the carpets to be professionally cleaned. This place is a joke. They'll take your first born child if they really want it.

CincyRents listed a Oakley/Hyde Park property on Craigslist on a Thursday evening. I called Friday morning to schedule an appointment. CincyRents decided to hold an open house on Monday with Craig, so I setup an appointment for Monday afternoon. I was told to wait to see the property and to then apply. Misty ensured me that applications would be reviewed by CincyRents and the owner after the open house. I knew I would be considered

Cincinnati Apartments Plus or Cincyrents is a property management company that I am going to stay away from as a renter. I have been renting apartments for about 10 years and move about every year to two years and have never had any issues getting a deposit back. A month after moving out I didn't receive my deposit but instead received a letter that they are assessing the cleaning charges; a month later a check for 1/2 of my deposit. When I called to complain and ask to see my move in checklist Cincyrents "didn't have one on file." They will not return phone calls or emails
