Martial Arts Studio

This is a great family oriented dojo my son is five almost 6 and has learned a great deal of respect for others, patience and a ton of skill sets. He always has fun going and has a lot too tell us afterwards. As a parent who already teaches is the kid to be respectful I’d love to see this being reinforced in something that he enjoys.

Incredible place, the teachers are very thorough and friendly. I loved my first time here and will DEFINITELY be back for more. As of writing this they’re doing a free month trial and if you are even a little interested in martial arts, or your kids are then this is definitely the absolute best place you can go to.

I wanted to take a moment and tell you all how awesome The Martial Arts Studio is. My son started his adventure into martial arts about 5 years ago. I have seen his confidence, determination and drive shape as the years have gone by. The Martial Arts Studio isn't just a place where my son trains, it is his second home. The staff makes you feel like family. They put everything they have into their program and the kids. They empower, guide, support and encourage. Our sons have participated in the after school Makoto program for 7 years now. It's incredibly convenient that they pick up from school, conduct classes with the kids and then have them work on school work. We've seen such a difference in their level of respect for others and their own self-discipline.
Also, I cannot say enough about summer camp. The first day my older son went to camp, they went ZIP LINING!! For the last day of camp this summer, they're going indoor sky diving. For several years, we would ask the kids what their favorite trip of the week at camp was and do an 'encore' visit as

Our family experience at Makoto and the Martial Arts Studio has been exemplary. The owners and instructors are good, caring people who are genuinely interested in the well-being of our child and are earnestly trying to make the world a better place through martial arts and character-building. Our daughter LOVES attending Makoto, the MAS after-school program. She loves the camaraderie, lessons and activities. Since she started attending a few years ago, we have seen a marked improvement in her respectfulness, personal accountability and responsibility at home and in school.

I usually never write any reviews . But I would like to share my experience with my kid after joining to this studio. I see there is a lot of difference in him after he started going to Martial arts Studio. He is more responsible, disciplined and independent. Basically he is a shy guy and he overcome that by slowly interacting with kids socially. His social and confidence skills improved a lot. We are happy to see his improvement. I strongly recommend this studio.

We became a part of the Martial Arts Family last summer and have not looked back since. My son loves it, and it has done wonders for his focus and listening skills. The teachers are fantastic and communication has been nothing short of excellent. I love that we can go everyday or not go at all depending on what we have going on in our lives. It is not easy to find that kind of flexibility out there. I can't wait for my daughter to start and see her truly come into her own. In short, cannot recommend this place enough!

I attend the Martial Arts Studio's kickboxing classes. I have been doing it for a few years and I love it! It's fun and challenging all at once and Sarah La France is an awesome instructor. I even did it while I was pregnant...it's great for everyone at any age!

Basically, this martial arts dojo wins. The experience that Sensei LaFrance gives to his students is unlike other studios. He loves what he does and simply wants his students to love it as well. The Martial Arts Studio is the best in town!!! Our family has been attending for several years and has enjoyed kick boxing, martial arts, summer camp, and even having our son’s birthday party at their studio. I can’t wait until our daughter is old enough to attend. The La France’s treat you like you are part of their family. The one thing that you will quickly notice is that all the children have smiling faces as they walk through the door.
