We're pleased to provide a wide variety of veterinary, boarding and grooming services for cats, dogs, birds, and pocket pets in Lake Oswego, Tualatin, West Linn, Dunthorpe and the surrounding areas of Portland, Oregon. I had a terrible time finding an avian vet where I live. When we had an emergency with my Conure, Oswego Vet Hospital got her in that day. They treated us wonderfully and were very accommodating considering that I had to drive 3 hours one way just to bring her in. We felt so lucky to have the Oswego Veterinary Hospital so close to us.
Oswego Veterinary Hospital is made up of three examination rooms, an operating room, x-ray room, laboratory/pharmacy, reception area, boarding suites, a grooming spa, and beautiful gardens. We offer a variety of services for cats, dogs, pocket pets and birds! We offer wellness plans for ongoing preventative care, as well as as-needed visits to keep your pets healthy, happy, and playing.
Please Note: We are not currently accepting new clients for grooming unless they are existing medical clients also. Our groomers provide professional pet grooming, soothing salt soaks and medicated skin treatments. Our groomers are always happy to answer questions on the phone or in person. Grooming hours vary slightly from the hospital hours, and we always recommend calling ahead.

Beyond being a great vet center, these folks are a class act. One of our older guinea pigs, not currently undergoing treatment for anything, passed away. They whole office staff signed a card and sent alovely note. They also made a donation in his name to a reforesting project. So incredibly thoughful. Always great service. Its not always easy to find small animals vets in the area in an emergency. So appreciate them.

This is the best Veterinarian office! My dog is always so welcomed and loves seeing the workers! They are very personable and help with any questions or concerns we may have. I just got my dog fixed here and it was an amazing experience for both myself and dog! Definitely recommend bringing your furry friend here!

I've had a fantastic experience with this vet. I'm a new puppy owner, and have found Oswego Vet reliable, responsive, and helpful. Whenever my pup has any kind of issue, no matter how small, the staff is extremely helpful in answering any of my questions even if just over the phone or email. I wish human doctors were this good!

Top to bottom fantastic. Your furry and family members get top-notch medical care delivered in a professional and caring manner. I’ve been with them for years with two very different dog family members and they’ve responded to each individually in ways tailored just to them from adoption, well-dog, lost-the-woods-for-three-weeks, chocolate trauma, surgeries, to end of life. They have other service you’ll love too: grooming and boarding. I couldn’t ask for more.

Review on Grooming Services:
We have a 9.5 year old 6 lb Yorkie has been receiving vet and grooming care at Oswego Vet for a few years. The vet care has overall been very good, though we had a very upsetting situation occur this weekend with the groomer, Eve. Eve was the only groomer in that day and when we picked up our dog, we learned that Eve cut off over 1/4 inch of the top of his actual ear! I cannot even imagine how traumatic and painful this situation was for our dog.
Eve's response to my husband seemed very lackadaisical and she simply stated, "I cut a little of his ear but he didn't

We bring both of our dogs here for medical care and grooming. Everyone here - office staff, techs, doctors and groomers - is wonderful to work with, have positive attitudes, are friendly, helpful and supportive. They always have time for our questions and never make us feel rushed or unimportant. We recommend OVH without hesitation to anyone needing help with their furry family members.
