This salon is amazing! The facility is so beautiful and the staff is beyond friendly! I’ve always been nervous getting hair cuts but felt like I was in great hands. The stylists do such a great job and getting to really know you and what you are looking for. I have super curly hair and Heather took time showing me how to style my hair and maintain it in a healthy safe way that doesn’t require tons of product or tools. I definitely would recommend JH Hair Design!

Jacky, Heather, and Felicia are the best! They did hair and makeup for me and my whole bridal party for my wedding day and we all received so many compliments all night long! The airbrush makeup Felicia uses really holds up to anything and our up-do's by Jacky and Heather stayed in place all night as well! Literally everything was flawless for at least 12 hours, even through lots of sweating and dancing! I would highly recommend JH to make you look your best at any event!

JH Hair Design is hands down the best hair salon in the state. I've gotten my hair done several places and nothing compares. Jackie and Heather have put together the most beautiful and modern salon that is clean and inviting. The salon is located in a nice area of Hamden, and is just minutes away from Quinnipiac and Sleeping Giant. Everyone is so helpful and the work is impeccable. I am so happy I've found this salon!!

Had my first Amazing experience with Heather Today! Moved to Hamden from Worcester, MA almost 2 years ago and yet had not found someone who could cut and style my hair to my liking. Went on YP.com and Yelp and read up on the reviews they had. They were all positive decided to call for an appointment. The Salon was absolutely beautiful and the staff was very personable. They made me feel like I've been coming there for years. Booked my next appointment right before I left. Very pleased with JH Hair Designs will recommend them to anyone I know. Thanks again Heather...
