Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, I got to meet the owner Katherine and we had wonderful conversation. The inside of the salon was very cute, comfortable, clean, and Covid safe (dividers). I’m a student at Quinnipiac and they do offer a student discount! Although, I felt like the prices for their services were very reasonable for the most part. Laurie has been doing my hair for years. She knows exactly what she is doing, pays attention to the details, and gives me the best haircut every time. I followed her to Small Talk Salon and it is so cute, clean, relaxing, and everyone is friendly. Sometimes, it's just me and Laurie in there and I feel like I'm at a private spa. I have been going to Laurie for haircuts for the last 10 years and have always loved my hair. I have very thick hair she cuts it dries it and then goes back and takes all the bulk out. Love, love, love this salon! This is the type of salon where you go, take a seat, and they make you beautiful. And they do it every time. Katharine is my regular stylist and she's just amazing. All my cuts have been great, even as they've grown out between visits. Kids have gotten cuts and color too. Very reasonably priced and love that it's family friendly.

Love this place! Called last minute for an appointment and they got me in the same day! The place is clean and well designed as well as being conveniently located in a cute area. The staff was super friendly and they affored me coffee at a really nice coffee station while I waited. I only waited a few minutes for my appointment.
