Heather brings over twenty years of experience in educating and caring for children from infants to after schoolers. Arthouse Preschool uses an arts-based approach in educating young children. The arts encourages fine motor skills, neural development and problem solving skills. The arts can also be used to effectively understand the areas of reading, writing, math, and science.
Our mission is to embrace the pursuit of excellence both inside and outside the classroom. We encourage critical thinking and emphasize the learning process over rote memorization.

Services
Arthouse cares for infants starting at six weeks old and toddlers through the age of two in our Infant and Toddler Rooms. Every child maintains his or her own schedule. Teachers work with parents to maintain the schedule from Arthouse to home. We have the same infant and toddler teachers who give consistent care to our children in these rooms.
Our inclusive program has the same characteristics as any other child care program. In an inclusive program, children with disabilities and without participate in the same activities and programs through out the day. Teachers at Arthouse learn to recognize each individual with special strengths and needs.
