Mary Lake Montessori's mission is to provide an educationally stimulating environment for children. We strive to create an atmosphere conducive to each child reaching his/her fullest potential while allowing him/her to be an individual as well as providing a caring, safe environment for children to be while parents are at work.

Services
We offer an Afterschool program as well as summer programs for preschoolers through 4th graders. The Afterschool program and summer programs for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade do not utilize the Montessori materials but provide a more relaxed atmosphere in which children are allowed more free time in a structured environment.
Children become more independent through opportunities to learn to care for themselves and their environment. Materials are suited to the child's size and needs. Sensorial Materials develop and refine a child's senses - touch, sight, hearing - and build small and large motor skills. Language Materials develop the basis of all education, putting together sounds, words, then reading.

Mary lake is great. Kathy keeps the class sizes small, with skilled teachers in each class. This allows for the students to get the help they need. I enjou that there is time for Montessori work and also time for free play. The playground is amazing, large and green. Plenty of space for the children and lots of great equipment. Every concern I ever had was addressed quickly and efficiently. I enjoyed the drive to school where we would see wildlife almost every day. It's a wonderful place where the staff truely care about the children.

Our daughter had a great experience at Mary Lake Montessori. The teachers are just so wonderful! We really love how they work with each child so that they can continue to learn and grow at their own pace. We also love how they not only focus on academics but also teach the children the important social skills like independence, kindness and respect and so much more.
