A yoga practitioner for 25 years, I hold bachelor's degrees in Studio Art, Anthropology and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Business Certificate from UT's McComb's School of Business. I found yoga therapy through some health challenges, and this led me to become a teacher.

Yoga therapy is a science of wellness that looks at the whole person - the physical, energetic, mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions. A therapist makes an assessment and based on the client's stated goals, provides a take home practice made up of yogic tools to address any areas that are out of balance.

Christina is a compassionate, knowledgeable, and open minded teacher / yoga therapist. She really listens and helps you to listen to your own body and feelings. She doesn’t approach exercises or methods with assumptions that something will work for everyone. Together you experiment and play! We found several, easy to implement movements to help me with pain, anxiety and freedom of movement. In her classes she builds a sense of community, self empowerment and again - play. Humor, curiosity and playfulness goes a long way to helping me stick with a yoga practice and exercises. She has knowledge

Christina is giving me the tools I need to change my life! She blows my mind by understanding what I feel (physically AND emotionally), listens to me with her heart and gives me purpose and intention so I can independently clear away that which no longer serves me. Yoga therapy is her passion and she exudes kindness and concern. She says she will email me resources and she follows through. Since becoming her client, I have learned much about myself and my body. The icing on the cake is that I am feeling better and now possess skills I'll use for the rest of my life!

Not only is Christina a wealth of knowledge, she is a fountain of calm and balance. Just being in her presence is comforting and one is left with a sense ease and feelings of being supported. I’m happy to know someone who walks the talk and knows her stuff. She is constantly learning, sharing and caring about those around her- all with a wicked sense of humor. 10/10 recommend!

I have been working with Christina virtually for three months. During this time she helped finally own that being fit is about mindset not dress size. As I am still working on my own consistent practice at home, I also realized that creating a yoga practice is more than doing a bunch of asanas in one setting; I can do a little everyday day and I am STILL practicing! I am confident that as I continue to work with her, I will get there.
