Carroll Property Inspections
The purchase of a home is the single largest financial investment you will make today. It is important that a buyer know as much as possible about their future home. Protect that investment with a professional property inspection. Choosing a home inspector trained to evaluate over 400 systems/components in the home to determine items that are not performing as intended, damaged, beyond their useful life or are unsafe is imperative.

Since the home inspection industry is not licensed in California, anyone can advertise and perform home inspections. So how does a homebuyer protect himself or herself? Compare inspector credentials carefully; look at education, experience and professional memberships. Resist the temptation of low price, in the inspection business "you get what you pay for" as the saying goes could cost you dearly.
Services
Carroll Property Inspections, available 7 days a week, provides comprehensive narrative reports on condominiums, townhomes, single family residences, multi-unit apartment buildings and commercial buildings. Our report findings are in compliance with CREIA (California Real Estate Inspectors Association) Standards of Practice.
I found your inspector's commentary to be both professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to make sure that his comments were addressed to my level of comprehension. Where the inspection identified areas of concern, I felt that your inspector was clear and concise about the problem without being alarming.
An inspection is a visual examination of the structure and systems of a building. If you are thinking of buying a home, condominium, mobile home, or commercial building, you should have it thoroughly inspected before the final purchase by an experienced and impartial professional inspector. A complete inspection includes a visual examination of the building from top to bottom.
The California Real Estate Inspection Association (CREIA) is a voluntary, nonprofit public-benefit organization of real estate inspectors. Founded in 1976, CREIA provides education, training and support services to its members and the real estate community.

CREIA's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice are recognized by the California Business and Professions Codes and are considered the standard of care by the real estate industry and legal profession in the state.CREIA Inspector Members have successfully passed the proctored comprehensive written California Home Inspector Exam on the myriad of systems and components in the construction and maintenance of residential dwellings.
I. Definitions and Scope These Standards of Practice provide guidelines for a real estate inspection and define certain terms relating to these inspections. Italicized words in these Standards are defined in Part IV, Glossary of Terms.

David Kramer was great great to work with, very friendly, professional and knowledgeable! He went above and beyond for us shimmying into the crawl space entrance that was blocked by a drain pipe. Other inspectors told us they could not access the area and that it would have to be excluded. David however knew how important it is to thoroughly inspect every part of the property and made it happen for us. He is very thorough in his inspections. Inspections reports can look terrifying at first glance but David took the time to talk us through every item that would be on the report, helping us make

We so appreciate Steve Carroll and the thorough inspection he conducted on our home. As an Air Force family living overseas, we needed to secure a new home at our next assignment (L.A.) - all in the midst of the pandemic. With so many travel restrictions in place, we were prepared to purchase a home sight unseen!
Steve inspected the property and scheduled a Zoom meeting to walk us through the report and offer additional insight. After speaking with him, we felt confident moving forward with the purchase. We wouldn’t hesitate to use him again in the future!

As a first time home buyer I was nervous about making such a large purchase. I thought I would miss something big and have to do major repairs! After Steve and James showed up I was quickly relieved and knew I was in good hands with how thorough they are! Two years later I'm still very happy with my purchase and so glad I had Steve and James on my side!
