Diana has spent her entire career as a top performer in the Property Management industry, managing investment properties & portfolios in both the public and private sector.After moving to the San Diego area in 1989, Diana worked at the Regional/Portfolio management level for 15 years, with oversight on up to 2300 units.

Pricing, Pricing, Pricing - The first step in achieving stable income flow is setting the right price, so we always start with careful market analysis. It allows us to maximize your revenue while minimizing your asset's vacancy time. First Impressions - A fast, cost-effective- turnover process gets your property looking sharp as quickly as possible.
As special as we are, our management and leasing services are still very competitively priced! Management Fees - 8% of monthly gross income for long-term (12 month) management contracts. Please Note: Rates for multi-unit buildings will be at a negotiated discounted rate.

We started renting from Diana in 2018 and she is just amazing. She has worked with us thru a couple plumbing issues and repairs at the house. She always balanced the needs and requirements of the home owner with our needs as a tenant. My wife and I just live her and feel she is always looking out for our best interest. Would recommend her business to any hone owner looking for property management and any tenant looking for a home.

As CEO of a professional services company I know a little about customer service. I have had need to rent property all over the world from France, to London England, to New England and in thirty years I have never been so badly treated or ripped off. I could wax lyrical on the detail but I will leave it at: Stay away from both Diana and the Rental Xperts if you want to avoid feeling like a second class citizen and being blatantly ripped off.

This is the worst rental experience I have ever endured. My partner and I are both professional, hardworking people, and we were treated like dirt. This was a "high end rental." I am in account management and know a thing or two about developing a good working relationship.
-owners left stuff in the house and garage when we moved in. We requested it to be moved and they flat out refused despite a large mirror being un safely secured to the wall, and we have small children

Diana was so kind, helpful and resourceful during my time renting. She was very responsive to emails and phone calls, and was always happy to help me and my roommates. I would highly recommend Diana Valin as a property manager. She managed my property for over 2 years. Diana kept the property in great condition and was very communicative and professional. Any issues were handled quickly and I was always kept in the loop.

I rented a property that they managed. Diana was so professional, responsive, and nice! When I moved in she made sure everything was perfect with the unit. Any problems while i lived there were handled right away. When I was moving out she communicated exactly what I needed to do to get my security deposit back. I was so impressed with her, I would strongly recommend her and the Rental Xperts to any property owner.

Rented a home for 2 years and couldn't have had a better experience! There are going to be issues that come up with any house and Diana was very responsive. Not only was the communication great but things were taken care of quickly and competently. Move in and move out went smoothly. Deposit was returned on time. My first call will be to Diana if I ever move back to the area!

As a landlord, I had an unfavorable experience with this company. Found Diana's attitude to be increasingly condescending, unprofessional and discriminatory. She was challenging to work. Much happier with our new rental agent/ company. They are professional, courteous and seem to respect their responsibility towards the landlord.

Diana showed us a home available in Encinitas Ranch. She gave us ample time to explore the home and answered all of our questions thoroughly. She offered to send pictures of the two new light fixtures that would be installed the following week, and noted patio furniture was being repainted, the faux turf was being professionally cleaned and windows would be washed inside and out. It was clear she was managing the tasks as she knew when they were scheduled.

I lived in a condo in Encinitas managed by Rental Xperts for 4 years only to discover it had a massive asbestos problem, soot from a fire that was never cleaned proper, and mold. When I told Diana that there was an asbestos issue, she told me she wouldn't do anything until I paid for testing out of pocket. APCD even came out and did testing. She still did nothing. It took the San Diego DEH to write a complaint before she did anything. She also tried to blame me for causing a problem that existed before I even lived there.

My husband and I had the fortune of renting a home that was managed by Diana Valin. She was such a pleasure to work with. She was right on any issues that we had during our stay and had a repair person out same day or next day. I was also quite impressed with her knowledge about the inner workings of a property. Although I was a renter, I wouldn't hesitate to use her services as a property manager on my next investment property. Highly recommend!

The military moved us unexpectedly two years ago right after we remodeled our home in Carlsbad. Diana Valin turned an impossible situation into doable with the first phone call.
She photographed our home, worked with us to set a reasonable price, and had it rented with excellent tenants within four hours after putting it on the market.
We moved out in less than a month. The renters moved in only days later. Diana kept us apprised of our property every month with a detailed personal email and timely billing for our tax preparation.

As a property owner - after needing to break a one year lease with a tenant (cutting it short by about 2.5 months), Diana began being unprofessional, unresponsive and unaccommodating. Not replying to email, texts and phone calls in a timely manner or if even at all. In one of our phone calls she was ranting/complaining about how this is an inconvenience for her, how it was going to decrease her income and how she couldn't get back to me because it was a busy time for her.

Diana with The Rental Xperts was wonderful during the 2 years we rented a property from her. She always remained professional and addressed any needs as quickly as she could. My husband and I really enjoyed our time in Cali and renting this property from Diana is part of the reason. Her reference letter is what sealed the deal for us renting in another state.

Diana and the Rental Xperts were great property managers to rent from. We rented a large house that had never been on the rental market before and Diana helped address every need that came up in a very timely and professional manner. When a bathroom leaked caused drywall damage over Thanksgiving weekend she had a great team of workmen there to fix it around our schedule. She clearly cared very much that her tenants were happy in the house and that the house stayed in tip top shape for all future renters as well. Diana Valin, the owner of Rental Xperts treated us extremely dishonestly and unethically. If you are considering hiring her as a property manager, I would look elsewhere. She was incredibly negligent in her duties as property manager of the house we rented and when her negligence cost the homeowner money, she lied and blamed us. If you are considering renting a home that Diana manages, keep track of every interaction with her and get it all in writing. We can not say more positive things about our experience with Diana and Rental Xperts. We were highly interested in a home for our little growing family (that many others were interested in as well :( ) and although we did not get the rental of our dreams, working with Diana was a breath of fresh air. Absolutely professional and kind beyond words. We're heartbroken but leaving refreshed knowing there are still amazing companies out there who value great customer service and professionalism (she was more fair, kind and honest than we've ever seen). The Rental Xpers are unprofessional at best, as is the owner, Diana. As a business owner myself, and even a previous home owner, I could not connect with The Rental Xperts or recommend them to anyone else. After reviewing the ad for a rental place (which indicated that dogs were allowed), then sending The Rental Xperts and Diana a cordial email regarding the potential of a rental application, I was asked to comply with an antiquated way of printing out and scanning that file back in. When I asked about a physical office location that I could come and complete this process, I was rebuffed by Diana

My daughter and I moved into a home managed by The Rental Xperts in July of 2015. It was a pleasure to work with Diana. She was very knowledgeable about the home and the surrounding area. She is professional, responsive and service oriented....oh did I mention friendly? Always has a smile on her face! She is good at getting things taken care of that need to be addressed. Although we didn't get the rental (3rd to see it) our experience with Diana was wonderful. You can tell she cares about her clients and properties. She was very kind, fair honest and professional. Best in the business that we've seen! Found this company to be very untrustworthy. Gave Diana a $1,500 check to guarantee the rental on a house. With a credit score of 760 and $1M in liquid assets, she rented to someone else. I was scheduled for lease signing. Turned down 2 other properties. Very unethical and terrible business practice. Shouldn't such a large deposit mean something?
