Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a system of therapy originally developed by Marsha M. Linehan, a psychology researcher at the University of Washington, originally to treat people with borderline personality disorder (BPD), but now this mode of treatment is widely used for all disorders.

DBT combines standard cognitive-behavioral techniques for emotion regulation and reality-testing with concepts of distress tolerance, acceptance, and mindful awareness largely derived from Buddhist meditative practice.Nicole has designed her own curriculum for anger management taken from various reputable anger management sources.
I have known Nicole for a little over 4 years now. In the beginning, she was my compassionate therapist who always reflected the truth. We later became co-workers. Nicole is my mentor in the therapeutic community. She has always carried me under her protective wings to guide me ethically. Now, Nic and I are friends.
