Currently have not gotten a response in regards to the new app to pay rent. Still can’t pay and we are behind. No response via email, text or phone call. Haven’t gotten pest services since the company was commonwealth. Pretty sure there’s a bunch of mold in the ceiling. They came to patch it and it still comes through. The corner of the floor in the living room might fall in. Evelyn Miller is the most terrible to try to work with and never responds.

Here we have another company passing the buck !!! How can you reach management if they do not answer calls or emails. To implement home365 where there is already horrible communication, and pretty much NON EXISTING property assistance Im sitting in my unit watching my 300 dollars worth of groceries defrost before my eyes eventhough I used this oh so "simple" app home365 , no response then and still no response no maintenance no nothing, Im highly irritated highly disappointed

I would not move here , I had a experience with Ella the Manager about my move outwith my apartment . They never gave me my deposit back and im very disappointed with ella and how she treated me . They never sent anything in the mail and would not returned my phonecalls and i emailed their corporate office . The communications with this property isnt good . Make sure you keep all your receipts and monyorders becasue they will make you overpay and wont return your money back to you. I would not refer this placeto anyone unless they get new management and operatein integrity .

I just moved in and washing machine is broken and I get any help they lie and pass the ball to each other. Huge inconvenience and I pay 1350......
update on this review. They gave a refurbished washer and I'm okay with that. And came to check the leak out in my bathroom that started on Saturday.. 3 stars because of the hassle.

Horrible horrible company to rent from. Every month there are falsified water charges on every tenants portal in my whole neighborhood. The roaches are terrible. They also will add a late charge after you paid all your rent. The property is not remodeled it’s in horrible condition.

Ocean View Loft apartments is presently owned by The Slatehouse Group which was sold to them by Richard Hahn of Urban Development LLC, who renovated this older three free standing building 5 years ago.
There's been many things said about The Ocean View Lofts. I'm not on here to beat anybody up or drag Slatehouse through the mud or denigrate the company. Because with anything there's bad and good no matter where you go.
THE PROS: Great location...2 blocks from city beach, 10 minutes to downtown, the Naval Base is in your back door. Easy access to 64....Hampton is 10 minutes away, eateries are

Hello All, Marina Point has been our residence for almost 6 years. The apartment is spacious and somewhat cozy. Our neighbors over the years have been friendly but not stopping over to borrow a cup of sugar friendly. We have never had a problem with bugs and they exterminate regularly. Robert keeps the grounds clean and over the years he has done an awesome job! The office staff is professional and helpful and may I add that Ms Ella keeps us informed and smiling, give her a raise! What I love and I mean love the very most is that I can walk right outback Go Fishing! It’s wonderful! Marina Point

Formerly Commonwealth Property Group(via merger). Management is horrible. No response to calls, voicemail, text, and emails; but if you go through their new central office in PA to get something fixed they get mad. Small issues are too difficult for the building manager (Israel) and larger issues are barely addressed.
Notice for entering your apartment is only given half the time, and if you do receive notice it is usually less than 24hrs. If a contractor needs to enter your apartment they just given them the keys and don't supervise them.

I am absolutely in awe with the staff at SlateHouse, especially Mrs. Ella. She always answers the phone and is very quick to offer advice and/or help with whatever questions and/or concerns I have. The maintenance and upkeep inside of individual apartments as well as outside yard work and clean up are a number one priority making it a very comfortable place to call home. I love it here!

It was a NIGHTMARE going through CPG then SLATEHOUSE. New name-Same SLUM LORD MANAGEMENT.
I moved because of the homeless population that lives there with other people and also sleep in the back of the building.
