Not long after owner Sam Gorgone began investing in and managing rental properties of his own, people began asking for his help with their property investments.It was then that Sam developed the business plan to create a company that would assist other investors by using his own philosophy as a solid foundation for success: Lease quality living spaces to qualified renters at a fair market value.

Always an entrepreneurial spirit, Sam first got started in real estate in 1995 while attending Millersville University. It was a successful corporate career coupled with numerous real estate investments in Lancaster County which lead Sam to his true calling. Be carful, they take the application fee and they don't follow up the application process . I called the manager to make sure that the property still available and nobody applied for it and she confirm that with me . we filled the application and paid the fees just right after the call . they take the money and the don't follow up the application and they give me a call next day to tell me tha the property rented to someone else ....realy disapointed

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Hometown Property Management Services since moving into my apartment in May. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and the building is kept in great condition. The 1 maintenance call I made was dealt with immediately and seamlessly. Would highly recommend!

Let's be honest here everybody. Renting a property can be a nightmare depending on who manages it. Moreover, renting OUT a property is a terrifying gamble depending on your tenants. Hometown Property Management (HPM) has been handling my rental flawlessly. If there is an issue with the house HPM handles the repairs quickly and at a very reasonable rate. Win win for both homeowner and tenant!
The reason property management companies even exist is to mitigate the time and stress of managing a real estate portfolio. To that effect, HPM has been paramount in allowing me to confidently expand my holdings

I would not recommend renting 249 E Chestnut St, unless you want to live with mice and deal with poor maintenance. There has been an ongoing mice infestation that Hometown has yet to figure out. According to previous tenants, it has been ongoing for at least the past 10 years. I personally killed 30 mice with my own traps in 3 months. All Hometown did was put poison down, but did not fix the gaping holes in the basement and throughout the apartment.
The mice issue aside, this company has demonstrated poor maintenance with the upkeep of this apartment. It took them years to fix a leak in the downstairs

I rented multiple properties through Hometown Property Management Services, LLC. It was always a fantastic experience so I kept going back to them. The maintenance service was excellent as most of my issues were closed out same day or next day. The company is very responsive and reasonable. Monthly payments were so easy utilizing their online portal. They always took care of me. It was a very fair tenant/ landlord relationship. I would 100% call HPM if I need to rent a property in the future. For sure, they would be my first call.

To make a long story short I had a horrible tenant who was always late with rent if he even paid at all which is 100% not Hometown's fault. What is 100% Hometowns fault is that after they had him evicted they took $100 from the security deposit for a late fee for the final months rent. The tenant had not paid rent the last 4 months so I found this practice rather I odd/unfair.
When I crunched the numbers Hometown made significantly more money on my property with a delinquent tenant due to late fee's than they would have if he were a regularly paying tenant. As previously stated I found this $100
