Treasure Island Christian offers a full range of educational services from preschool through Junior-K at both of our child friendly, state of the art, and well-equipped facilities.
Treasure Island was established in 2012 and is a ministry of Motion Church. It is nonprofit, depending entirely upon tuition and donations, and is interdenominational in spirit, serving all of the Puyallup community and the surrounding area. Services
Registering for a class that is full will add your child to the wait list of that class, and not secure an open spot in a class with openings. A non-refundable Registration Fee ($125) is payable each year at the time of registration. Tuition payments are based on a yearly tuition divided into 10 monthly payments, paid from August through May.
The 2 year old program is designed to offer Preschoolers their first structured social interaction with peers and teachers. Our students are developing social skills by learning how to share, take turns, and Be a friend. By learning skills early, students will be able to focus more on cognitive development in later years.
IN THE 3's CLASSES, THE TEACHERS use a theme based curriculum, which includes letters, shapes, colors, math, science, dramatic play, concepts, fruit of the spirit and bible verses. Research shows that children learm through play so we incorporate learning centers throughout our classrooms as well as teacher directed activities.
This class offers the "gift Of a year" to allow children to continue learning and developing at their own pace in a class that will help build upon the skills they will need for kindergarten success.
