With a combined 60+ years experience, in 1996 they dreamed of a way to bring the freshest flowers direct to the Austin flower buying public. Their dream was realized with the birth of A.F.C. a European style flower market with the finest cut flowers, fresh greens, as well as blooming and foliage plants.
By buying our product direct from the farms, we are the floral wholesaler for many local flower shops as well as many independent wedding and special event artists. And we also sell retail to the public. This allows us to honor our philosophy of always striving to sell the highest quality product at a reasonable price.

Please try another flower place if you're expecting good customer service. You will not get it here! I waited several minutes for someone to greet me, mind you there were 3 people standing around. It took another 5 minutes for them to find the iPad with my order on it as it was prepaid (I'm not sure why the employee didn't ask the other coworkers for help). They then explained they did not have my order put together because of the iPad issue. One of the colors I requested was out of inventory. I had to get another color but it should have been free or discounted, at least.

I love supporting small businesses, and it always makes me feel better buying from a local shop than a large retailer. I've been coming to Austin Flower for a few years now, and I have the best experience every time. Their flower selection is great, and you can buy a ton of flowers for a really decent price. They organize the flowers beautifully, and they always impress whoever I'm planning to get the flowers for.

So sad. I came to buy flowers for my wedding. Driving from out of town I looked forward to finally seeing all the gorgeous flowers they seemed to have. Once I arrived I was confused because most flowers did not have pricing on them nor on the board. I know prices for flowers are high right now but seemed like an opportunity to take advantage after I was told pricing. The flowers were very expensive. My brother's engagement was this past weekend and our experience was much less than acceptable. My mother and I went to purchase the flowers. They charged us a different rate than what they were advertising for roses. When we asked why, they stated the rate advertised was for months old roses. Why would anyone sell months old roses and think that was ethical? The lady at the front desk was rude. We waited so long we almost missed the engagement itself! The finished product was filled with dead petals, why should anyone have to tear off dead petals from the bouquet we purchased for $60? Needless

No bells or whistles, just decent, fresh, plentiful flowers. Excellent curbside pickup. They don't give you the dregs. You won't find anything subtle or exotic here but if you are looking for tulips that won't bend over immediately or roses you can flex with glee than this is the place. Walking in, you feel like you are on the florists' floor or a bulk flower market. That means lots of generic selection in terms of colors and good quality stems. Don't expect anyone to guide you through a curatorial process though!

This place is an absolute fun house whenever there is an issue with my flowers or my plant order, the workers are always there to help me out even it there was miscommunication. I've been going for years and never had a sour experience. The new girl buying with the orange hair (Mary I think) has so much knowledge of the plants. Mary and Sophie have given me so much information about plants and flowers, that my plants are glowing in my house

My husband bought 2 dozen red roses for me last Wednesday, but within 5 days they were all drooping and almost dead. Our previous experience with Austin Flower Company has been very positive - they have a great selection of very fresh flowers. I called, and they asked me to bring a photo of the flowers and a receipt if possible. They replaced them for me without any hesitation after they saw the photo, and they apologized that the previous bouquet was not of the quality they usually carry. It must have been a bad batch of roses.

I love this place so much. I've been a fan since I moved to the area a year ago. They have huge selection of various flowers and plants to pick from. I especially love that you can step into their cooler and basically create your own bouquets. Everyone here is super nice and helpful and I've done 4 different pickups during the pandemic for dried flowers, topical flowers (not found anywhere else), and plants. Never had an issue here and I'm happy to give them my business.

I've been coming here for years for both school Valentine's Day fundraiser flowers AND special occasion flowers. The don't arrange the flowers for you but they always have a beautiful selection of high quality flowers. They have excellent customer service and I'll continue forcing my dear husband to buy my flowers from here and arrange them himself to prove his love to me.

I did the wedding flowers for my nephew and his bride in Austin in October, 2019. I live and work out of state, and found Austin flowers. They could not have been more wonderful! They helped me find what we were hoping for, and did their best to suggest subs if needed. The final results were beautiful, and the bride and groom were overjoyed! Hope to work with them again!! Look no further for world-wide sourcing of uniquely sourced flora with a super hip staff that enjoys off-beat humor. I've gone here for over 29 years I used to work for Gardens next door when I was in college. My boss James would go : " Jimmy the " mums " are parched I was the water boy. Several bar ownerships later and now my own micro Hotel I go there every week. These people know what they are doing and if a flower looks droopy it's under the chopping block !

One of my best friends recently retired and I stopped by Austin Flower to get her something extraordinary. She is a huge plant and flower lover and one of the most thoughtful people I know, so I knew that Austin Flower would have something she'd love. The selection of gorgeous flowers and HUGE potted plants is quite nice for such a small space and I was able to select a truly show stopping flowering plant (whose name escapes me, as I am not the gardening type). Wasn't greeted or offered any assistance the entire time I was there (ten minutes). Six dollar stems of peonies were bruised and battered and definitely not worth taking home. They have a wide selection of flowers, but it seems as though Saturday isn't a great day to go. Of the four bouquets I was interested in, only one was unblemished and hearty enough to get to Monday when I need them (and those were leaves). The staff here is very friendly and very helpful. The idea is really cool. They have most of their flowers in one room and you can just go in and pick which ones you want. I had no idea what I was doing and they steered me in the right direction. We also used Austin Flower for our wedding flowers a few years ago and loved the flowers then too. I'll definitely be back.

I got married Nov. 4th and had a completely DIY wedding. I did not want to spend a lot of money on flowers but I still wanted some pomp and paper flowers don't seem to be a cheaper option for what I needed. I searched around various websites like fiftyflowers for diy sets but I had a small wedding (28 people) and their bundles are huge.
