JC's Mexican Restaurant

Great restaurant located in downtown Bartlett. I have been here a few times with friends and with family. Loved this place each time as it is an excellent Mexican restaurant with a variety of vegetarian options.

I usually get the enchiladas with the vegetarian sauce and all the toppings and really love it. Also, the chips and salsa and the chips and guac were really good and addicting.

I would definitely visit this place if you are in Bartlett!

Amazing food! Absolutely loved it, would’ve been five stars but I visited at a time that wasn’t that busy and you guys forgot my cheese fries, salsa verde, and my limes after reading my order back to me. :(

Great Mexican food and friendly service. A little pricey for me but well worth it for birthdays, anniversaries and date night!

Food and service were fantastic. Flavorful and delicious. Not salty, just well-crafted tasty food. In addition the service was extra warm and friendly. Definitely plan to return.

Lovely place and had the Carne asada. Food and service were fabulous, and they took their time with us despite being the last customer. To me, that spoke volumes of the work ethic this restaurant has. My compliments to the owner, who was kind, gracious and accommodating.

Ok , I never leave reviews, but i have never had such horrible service in my 54 years of life.
I am a disabled, deaf person with dietary restrictions. I don’t even know her name but she was the most rude server I have ever encountered After telling her I was deaf and asking her to speak slowly so I could try and read her lips, I asked about the margarita mix sugar content. She proceeded to tell me that they closed at 9 pm and looked at her watch after I told her I was not ready to order at 7:30pm.
The drinks were ok and the guacamole was “market price” and tasteless. Thank god we did not

I came here twice with my coworkers so far. The carne asada is so tender, salsas have a great kick to them, and the diablo shrimp is not for the weak. I definitely recommend trying this place out! They have definitely earned the right call themselves an authentic mexican restaurant.

Excellent Mexican food! Love the burritos. Parking can be difficult though. If you want to dine in but don't want an entire dinner, visit during lunch hours (otherwise you "have" to get a dinner if you dine in, with a side of rice & beans, and pay for it even if you don't want it).

We lived in Bartlett for about 5 years now and this is our first check in. Wished we checked in the first time we looked for a nice Mexican restaurant near by! As usual you will receive your chips and salsa it was very good. Everything in the menu looked authentic, so we ordered the shrimp with bell peppers. The little one ordered out of the kids menu and she got the baby burrito and fries. She is a very picky eater and she took the first bite and feel in love. My husband and I are always looking for different places to eat out now that we are retired. Driving thru Bartlett today we noticed this little quaint restaurant. Looked so homey and comfortable. We ordered our lunch and OMG was the food fantastic. EVERYTHING from the chips and salsa (which we ended up buying some additional for our house) right thru dessert The owner was so busy but had everyone taken care of and with a big smile on his face We have found ourselves our New Mexican restaurant I can't stop telling everyone. This is a very quaint little place with very good food. There was nothing bad about any of the 3 dishes we had. Family owned and they try very had to please you. We're going back, especially to sit outside.

Wish I could leave a review but after 25 minutes no one took my order and I ordered a shot to go of reposado to go as a chaser with my drink but yet again that did not show up. We're restaurant people and if we were not happy.. it's not good. We wish we could tell you about the food but because of bad service, we left before ordering.

Good overall...beef wasnt as seasoned as hoped, beans were good , steak n pastor tacos were very good , poppers were awesome, n fyi one free refill on heavily ice filled horchata ...

What a hidden gem! I was at nearby dentist's office and thought it looked cute. Beautiful flowers and ivy and lights. Not only did it look cute, but the food was amazing! Very fresh and authentic. My friend had the enchiladas and I had the al pastor tacos. The spices in the pork tacos were so incredible. We then had a flan which was lovely and light. We loved our food! The staff were so friendly and helpful. I live in the city, but wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often!

Dinner was good. My mango margarita was ok I enjoyed the actual fruit in it. Suggestion would be to use actual margarita glasses. Personality of staff I think should maybe more welcoming!

My family and I ride our bikes here since we live close. The leaves around look beautiful year round now during fall- almost fake. The lights make it super cozy. I highly recommend sitting outside 🙂

New to Bartlett! Happy we tried this place out as our first Mexican restaurant in the area. You have a new loyal customer!!
The lady on the phone when I placed my order was so pleasant and patient. Have ordered a few times and it's always her answering! Food was amazing and fresh tasting. We will be back, that's for sure!

First off, we got here with no reservations and understood we had to wait. Then this group of 4 people show up, and same story. So then they get seated before we do and after we had been waiting for 15 minutes and they just got there. Again with no reservations. Needless to say that we left.. Worst service ever.

Went here for lunch with a coworker; weekday afternoon, only ones in the place. The service was prompt and attentive, but the food was less than satisfactory. I got the three taco plate: 2 chicken, one steak, comes with rice & beans. The food was lukewarm on arrival (seriously, the chips they brought to start were warmer than the meal itself). The chicken is either canned or just boiled & chopped, no seasoning to speak of. The steak was decent - what there was of it; had a large chunk of fatty gristle which took up most of the taco. I generally got the impression that they just have a bunch

First time here and I'll definitely be back. Owner was also our server and she couldn't be nicer! Both my friend and I really enjoyed our marinated skirt steak with grilled onions. Conversation pretty much stopped as we devoured our food. It's not easy to get this friend quiet!
It was a Sunday evening and not very busy. We were seated right away. And food didn't take long at all.
Can't wait to come back and try the skirt steak with cheese and peppers!

We sat outside which was a mistake because there's street noise from traffic and trains. On a quiet day, it would be pleasant but not during rush hour.

The service was ok. We had to ask for water but they were attentive and got the order right.

The choices of sauces with enchiladas was great and well prepared. The refried beans were blah. Overcooked and bland.

Overall, I give it a solid 3 out of 5.

As locals, my husband and I frequent this fine establishment. We have also settled on our favorite meals right away, which are so good, it is hard for us to try other things on the menu, which, I'm sure, are also quite delicious. I pretty much always order the chicken chimichanga and a house margarita on the rocks, with salt. It's just so perfect!

It's a cozy little place with cheerful decor and friendly wait staff. I am also thrilled to find out that they don't mindlessly throw straws into every drink, like SOME restaurants (ahem, just down the street). I know some people

Cute place with friendly service. They have a nice little outdoor eating area. Probably one of the best margaritas I have ever had! The perfect mix between sweet and sour. We should have ordered a pitcher! Next time for sure.
The salsa is a bit different than I am used to but tasty. The guacamole was average but good.
The shrimp fajitas had a lot of flavor with plenty of shrimp. The skirt steak with ranchero sauce was cooked perfectly with a nice tasty sear.
Not too pricey and a good amount of food. I'll be going back.
