****STAY AWAY****For last few times, the Biryani is NOT fresh. Rice were so sticky that you can't eat with spoon. They automatically charge 15% Gratuity for one person. Normally, its for 4 and above. When I asked, behind the counter guy named Rohan, he said because Desi don't pay tip. Since I go their almost every week, I am not sure how many times I have paid them double TIP. Third the tax rate in DuPage is 8.25%, but they charge 10.50% I have attached the copy of the receipt. Stay away from this place. They are real thieves. This restaurant should be closed and owners should be put in jail. In

Sweets didn’t tasted good, it felt like they were stale. I never had this worst gulab jamun in my entire life. We ordered gulab Jamun and Gajar ka halwa both were not good at all, at first place he served us cold as well. They definitely need to improve the quality I would not recommend this place to anyone for sweets.

The food was absolutely amazing. Reminded me of the food back in Karachi. Specifically the biryani. We ordered the chicken and beef biryani, chicken karhai and bbq platter. Food quantity was more than enough for 4 people. The food was really good tasting hands down the best biryani I have had in Chicago. The restaurant is family run and the people were really friendly. They gave us a nice rabri kheer for free and that was amazing as well.
Definitely worth the 2 hour drive.

This restaurant has an identity crisis. The food would suggest they are a run-of-the-mill Indian/Pakistani establishment, which in the Chicago area, are a dime-a-dozen. Their prices however would suggest that management believes they are a fine-dining establishment. $24 for a lamb biryani. $20 for a plate of 4 pieces of 6" inch chicken kabobs.
I would have given them the benefit of doubt for just being bad at economics but then they charged us $2 for each tiny bottle of water (that we never asked for) that they placed at our table. We thought this was just in-lieu of serving regular tap water

We pre-ordered and were impressed they had the nuggets and fries were ready for us.
Then, things took a turn for the worst. No silverware, napkins, etc. They forgot our biryani. So we tried to cancel and they said it was made. When biryani did come; chicken was raw and it looked like someone just put it together in the back. We asked for yogurt and onions, they brought only the yogurt (riata) after asking a few times.
The server was one guy; no mask. He was a 1990's Salman Khan #2. He spoke nicely but did not remember orders and was unorganized.
The ambiance did not match thr service

Great tasting food! We had to wait a while since we were a big group, but worth the wait. Standouts from the menu were: the ribeye steak - huge serving, cooked and seasoned well, comes with rice and sautéed veggies; cloud pizza - ordered meat lovers and chicken tikka, both were excellent, basically it's pizza stuffed in a naan; and goat biryani - best biryani in the Chicago area so far! Servers were friendly, decor was nice. And if the wait is long, you can keep yourself busy reading the cute sayings on the wall - absolutely loved their wall art!!!

We choose Kolachi Tandoori Grill for our first experience with Indian food. We tried a variety of dishes some where suggested to us by a friend and one we chose on our own. We had the chicken Brianni which I thought was good she thought it was a little spicy. We both enjoyed the veggie Samosas, we both liked the Chana Masala I was dipping the Naan in it and it was good. The only thing we both didn’t care for was the Chicken Tikka Masala. I have nothing to compare it to so I can’t say it was bad I think it was just more our personal preference. Overall it was a good experience, we ordered online

Food tasted good and the workers were friendly. But I'm giving them a low score because I found hair in my food and a small fly. Which just made this not a place for me to eat at again. Overall everything was fresh and had great flavor but once I found hair and a bug that changed my whole perception.
Also with Covid the cooks and staff are not wearing mask so I didn't like that as well especially since I was also dining in. On the positive side they do provide you with bottled water for free.

This place is really good, I've had this place multiple time. Briyani is very good! Chicken was flame. I've had their bbq items plenty of times. Faluda is fire. Pista faluda is highly recommended.
Just had dinner last night, yummmy! Nehari, Briyani, butter chicken, and ghost karahi! Everything was very tasty!

I'll start by saying that they use to be one of my favorite Biryani places on my list, but unfortunately, it keeps getting worse and worse every single time. It's a shame that most Indian/Pakistani Restaurants are horrible in maintaining the quality of food and customer service! Mainly this place is crazy expensive, plus the built-in 15% tip and tax. I feel that I'm paying $20/- for an order of rice plate because I have to throw away all the meat-(BIG BONES & RUBBER MEAT) from the Biryani. I talked to them few times, and they didn't give a S... to my concerns. I have a business

Tried this place for take out and we were not disappointed!
Ordered chicken biryani, butter chicken, tandoori chicken. I guess we had it for chicken that night!
The spice on butter chicken and tandoori was off the charts for me... and i didnt care for my GERD, it tasted good.
The naan complimented everything.

Ordered takeout from here and got the tandoori chicken, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala. The tandoori chicken was delicious; cooked perfectly with just the right amount of flavor. Only downside is that it's a small portion for the price tag -- 4 pieces. The chicken tikka masala was just alright in my opinion -- more of a milder (bordering on almost sweet) taste than the typical spice that I've become accustomed to with that particular dish.
Overall, the food is definitely worth trying out, and the menu is so extensive, that I'm sure everyone can find something they can enjoy

The dining room was empty yesterday (Sunday) so we took a chance and sat down.
The tables weren't necessarily spaced appropriately, but no one else was in there, so it didn't impact us. Rather than sanitize a table between guests, they use the butcher paper method and it looked as if they weren't strict about changing the paper between guests (though I could be wrong... we didn't observe anyone else in the restaurant). Mostly the server wore a mask, but there were definitely employees walking around without them. All this to say that from a COVID safety standpoint, I might

Finally was able to go for a Sunday brunch at a traditional indo-pak restaurant. We sat out in a tent and were served shrimp pakora, chicken biryani, chicken kheema, traditional Pakistani khagina, and parata. They even made sunny side up eggs for the little one. We washed it down with mango lassi and chai. Overall the food was excellent but make sure you have some activity planned afterwards to burn off the calories. I can't wait to go back again and try some of the other items on the menu.
