Dr. Kevin Patel and his wife, Dr. Sheena Neil, are the new practicing owners of Dogwood Family Dental. It has been a great transition with wonderful staff and patients. Drs. Patel and Neil want to thank everyone for welcoming them so warmly. It was the doctors' dream to return to Moore County after residency to serve as family dentists and create a smooth, relaxing environment that patients can come and feel cared for.

Services
Sandra is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina having grown up an army brat and loves the Sandhills. She achieved her Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 1988. Sandra is very special to the practice and to her patients. She genuinely enjoys her job and it shows with the quality of time spent with each and every patient.
Our office is located at 908 N. Sandhills Blvd in Aberdeen, NC in a great location right off of US Highway 1. Dr. Patel and his team are in the middle of renovating the office making it more environmentally efficient as well as updating the esthetics! Dogwood Family Dental stays up-to-date on dental procedures and technology with electronic health records and digital x-rays making our office and patient information accurate and secure.

Everyone is incredibly friendly and they explain what they are doing step-by-step. I am very happy to have finally found such an awesome dentist!
Your regular exam will take about 60 minutes. Each regular exam includes a detailed teeth cleaning, in which we will clean, polish, and rinse your teeth to remove any tartar and plaque that have built up on the tooth's surface. Dogwood Family Dental loves to see patients of all ages and in fact the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends thats a child should have their first dental visit before their first birthday.
A composite (tooth-colored) filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks, fractures, etc. The decayed or affected portion of the tooth will be removed and then filled with a composite filling. There are many types of filling materials available, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.

There are new owners to this dental practice and they are fantastic! I am a person who is a person self conscious about my teeth and Dr. Patel and Dr. Neil never made me feel judged. Instead they are bright, cheerful, talented and helpful. They are taking care of my issues that work with me and my plan. I go to my appointment without an ounce of dread! Jasmine at the front counter is great! She always remembers me by face too, which is nice, because I do not feel like a stranger. Last dental visit was 6 years ago, I finally have insurance so I made an appointment and then I find out they take my insurance too!!!! So glad I made it back in. The front desk ladies were very nice and welcoming, Sandra as always was amazing!!! Dr. Patel was very nice, wonderful chair side manner!!!!! My teeth feel amazing and I will be back in 6 months for another cleaning. Thanks for making my teeth feel wonderful again Sandra!!!! You will not regret going to these wonderful people for your cleanings and dental work!!!

From the moment you call they make you feel a part of their family. Easy appointment times and just the sweetest front office staff around. Brenda did an amazing cleaning and eased my nerves by calmly explaining it all. Dr. Patel is friendly and professional and is thorough in his exam. I’m so happy we chose them for our kids and me! Best dental office around!
