I took my mother out to eat after she drove me to get some things around town, as I don’t have a vehicle. My food was really good (combo 5). Not sure about my mother, as she took hers togo (because she got full off the chips and queso). Queso that is really good btw. The Food did take a while to get to our table though. I wasn’t bothered by this as they did seem to have a lot of togo orders and was fairly busy on the inside, and I don’t think that would have happened given any other circumstances. I could be wrong but even so, the food was worth the wait.

We were staying in the area and frankly had a lot of BBQ, as one is supposed to in this area.
I looked at the crew and said "I could legit fall in love with some good tacos right now" and off they went to scour the area for tacos. I had one requirement... as I do with my completely biased and unprofessional taco eating (ok... I'm semi-pro) Mexican establishment choosing... the menu must have like 500 items made up of the same 10-15 ingredients to be legit.
DANG!!! Their menu was like a thousand items. I immediately turn the truck around and headed there. The reviews were good

Pretty good food and decent service. We actually wanted to have lunch at a nearby seafood place, but being the Saturday after black Friday most other restaurants were closed.
But fortunately this turned out to be a nice place. We had ordered a few dishes and everything tasted great. This being lunch we didn't order any alcoholic drinks. Service was decent. Can recommend.

The place is great and the food is excellent.
My low rating is because of the service we got. We came in at a rather busy time, so I didn't mind the wait or anything, but our server Carlos acted like waiting on us was an inconvenience right from the start. We did not ask for anything out of the ordinary, just our food (straight from the menu, no special changes or anything), napkins and some to-go containers when we were done. At one point he left before we even finished speaking and then when I asked for a to-go container for sauce, he actually rolled his eyes.

The picture below is supposed to be chimichangas. Not sure what it is, but it was so bad I couldn't finish eating it. We've been going to El Patron for a few years now and have never had bad food or service until the last two times we have been. I hope this is just lack of good cooks/help due to the pandemic 😕 The food was just unacceptable yesterday.

Came to El Patron for my first time on Cinco De Mayo so let's just say I knew what were were getting into. We called for a table around 5 and were told it would be about 30 minutes. Once there we checked in. It felt like we waited more then 30 minutes more like 45 but I get it, it's Cinco and people stay at there tables longer then normal.

Whoever took our takeout order over the phone was so rude, made us feel so rushed, and his EXACT words were "what do you mean the combo?" We mean.... The combination.... With rice and beans.... Like on your menu. Never said thank you, hung up on us after telling our wait time. When I went in person, waited up front without anyone coming to check out for a few minutes. Not to mention how expensive it was. We love to support local businesses, but will no longer support this one due to obvious reasons. Great restaurant with friendly staff and amazingly great food. At some places we ask for modifications to our meal, which can be a challenge at some places but the waitress made sure she had the order down correctly and it came out right! That means so much to us. Several staff stopped by just to ask how everything was. The motif was very beautiful and I just really can't say enough about the kindness of the staff and how awesome the food was. We had quesadillas, tacos, fajitas, burritos and everything was amazing. Definitely visit this spot!

Me and my friends came in for the Friday margarita special, when we were about to pay I noticed our tab had been messed up and the drink weren't the special price. I keep discovering places with awesome salsa. El Patron's salsa is so fresh and yummy. I went during a busy lunch time. We received our food in a timely fashion. I had a chicken chimichanga fajita and it was very good! My food was literally sizzling when the server brought it to me. Their menu is quite large and many options to choose from. The server was a younger male and he was very friendly and efficient. The establishment was clean and well maintained with neat Spanish decor. El Patron is a delicious and fast serving restaurant! If you're looking for a quick sit down place to eat, this is it. They give you free chips and salsa and the salsa is one of my favorites! The prices are a decent price and the service is awesome! Definitely recommend this place if you're in town.

Mexican restaurants tend to be dine-a-dozen and almost identical in menu and quality. However, I found El Patron to be a slight cut above. The service was a bit 'hit and miss' as they were busy at lunch, but I thought the quality of the ingredients, the verity of the menu and the execution to be quite good.
We stopped here to meet a friend while traveling through town and were pleasantly surprised.

I can only give 2 stars the food is ok but don't order the queso sauce for your chips they water it down it's like cheesy water but charge you $4+ for it. And on Sundays they Jack the prices up most of the booths are in dire need of replacement we visited a newly opened Mexican restaurant down the street was greeted with chips salsa and complementary bowl of soup and Real queso sauce if u order it not cheesy flavored water! they have additional salsa etc bar at no extra charge they don't raise prices on sunday's. The food is great cost about same but you get what you pay for

This spot is a great place to go to get really good authentic Mexican food. They did a really good job of decorating in this space. It seems small on the outside but when you walk in, it's a really comfortable setting and you forget it's in a strip mall. I had the combination plate with an enchilada & tamale with yellow rice and refried beans. I also got a taco on the side. My wife had the carnitas weigh came with flour tortillas. They have hot sauce at the table. Everything was excellent! The wait staff was very helpful and attentive.
